Fans Are Furious & Threatening To 'Boycott' Ralph Lauren After The Brand Chooses Gal Gadot To Star In Its Latest Fall Campaign: 'I Would Like To Return Every Piece Of Clothing'

Gal Gadot’s latest fashion campaign has sparked backlash online, with some pro-Palestinian social media users calling for a boycott of Ralph Lauren over the actress’s involvement with the brand.

The Wonder Woman star appeared on the cover of Ralph Lauren’s September 2026 Modern Luxury issue, where she modeled pieces from the brand’s Fall 2026 collection. The fashion house shared photos from the shoot on Instagram this week, showing Gadot wearing several glamorous, gilded looks. See the outfits here.

The campaign quickly drew criticism from commenters who objected to Ralph Lauren working with Gadot, citing her Israeli background and her public support for Israel and the Israeli military.

Gal Gadot Stars In Ralph Lauren Campaign Amid Boycott Calls

“Massive calls to boycott Ralph Lauren after choosing former Israeli IDF soldier Gal Gadot in its latest campaign. Bye Ralph Lauren forever,” one person wrote on X.

Another commenter said, “I would like to return every piece of clothing and get a refund. When you do a post like this in these times you are clearly taking a stand against children’s right to live!”

“I was an avid Polo shirts buyer. Not anymore. I’ll save my money and invest in Brooks Brothers shirts instead. They’re better anyway,” another person wrote.

Others were similarly critical, with one commenter asking, “What is wrong with these people—of the millions they can choose from, they go with a genocide loving Zionist??!!”

“Can’t we have anything nice anymore. Read the room,” another wrote.

The backlash is tied to Gadot’s longstanding public support for Israel.

Following the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, Gadot shared a message on Instagram expressing her support for the country.

“I stand with Israel you should too,” she wrote at the time. “The world cannot sit on the fence when these horrific acts of terror are happening!”

Gal Voices Her Support For Israel Amid Backlash From Pro-Palestinians

The 41-year-old, who has served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as part of Israel's mandatory military service, has continued speaking publicly about her connection to Israel. During a conversation with Michal Herzog at the President’s Conference in Jerusalem in May 2026, the mom of four discussed what it has been like being Israeli while living abroad and said she and her husband, Jaron Varsano, are building a home in Israel.

“My husband and I are building our home in Israel,” Gadot said, without specifying the location. “If there’s one Zionist thing to do right now, it’s to build a home in Israel.”

She shared her frustrations with the current conflict, adding, “I feel anger. Sometimes I feel fear. And there’s also great frustration at seeing how quickly people judge and form opinions. I wish they would amplify the voices in this room and this conference to the world, so they could see what Israel really is.”

Her comments also drew attention from pro-Palestinian advocates, particularly because of the broader dispute over Israeli settlements. Palestinians and their advocates generally regard Israeli settlements in territory captured in the 1967 war as illegal under international law, while Israel disputes that characterization.

Gadot’s latest Ralph Lauren campaign has therefore become the latest example of how celebrity fashion partnerships can intersect with the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, with critics using the brand’s social media posts to voice their objections.
