Taylor Swift is no stranger to fashion criticism, with fans often debating her repetitive or less adventurous outfit choices. But her latest look had social media singing a very different tune.
The Grammy winner stepped out in the romantic “Nelida” Gown by California-based fashion label Dôen during her appearance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles for The Icon Sessions with Taylor Swift: A 20-Year Retrospective.
The vintage-inspired dress immediately caught fans’ attention thanks to its dreamy, ethereal design—and its relatively accessible price tag compared with some of Swift’s usual fashion choices. The gown retailed for $798.

Taylor Swift Stuns In Ruffled Green Dress
According to Dôen’s description, the Nelida Dress takes inspiration from 1930s evening gowns and is crafted from crinkled silk chiffon.
The design features an asymmetrical neckline framed by cascading ruffles that flow into a dramatic cape-like back, while additional flounces run down the full skirt.
A standout detail is the single shoulder adorned with petite red handmade millinery flower pins, adding a delicate pop of color to the otherwise soft look.
The gown is slightly sheer and comes with a custom silk slip underneath. The slip fastens at the shoulders with hidden snaps, according to the brand.
While the dress itself was considerably less expensive than many of Swift’s high-fashion looks, she paired it with an eye-catching collection of luxury jewelry reportedly worth nearly $50K.
The Eras hitmaker accessorized with 3-carat diamond drop earrings from Retrouvai and a gold tennis bracelet from Effy Jewelry. She also wore her custom wedding ring from husband Travis Kelce.
The Dôen gown quickly became a fan favorite, selling out online shortly after footage from Swift’s Grammy Museum appearance surfaced.
For fans hoping to recreate the romantic aesthetic without the same price tag, similar options include the Reformation Allissa Dress, the For Love and Lemons Juniper Maxidress and the Dessy Collection Ruffle Slip Maxidress from Nordstrom.

Fans React
On Instagram, fans were quick to praise Swift’s latest fashion choice, with many highlighting how different it felt from some of her more heavily criticized looks.
“She’s completely skewed my perspective of the price of her clothes cuz I really saw ‘$798’ and thought ‘oh wow that’s not bad,’” one fan joked.
“I love that she got married and is so true to herself and style!! She knows herself and is not changing these ethereal vibes, I love it,” another wrote. “She can do a ‘WAG’ look to games but her own style is still there for her music.”
“It’s so pretty and romantic. Love the contrast of the floral detail on the shoulder,” another fan said.
“My first thought was that this dress has a very romantic vibe,” someone else added.
