Gavin Rossdale Speaks On Marriage To Gwen Stefani
Rossdale, 59, recently appeared on an episode of Dinner's on Me, hosted by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who prompted the musician to reflect on the time he spent married to Stefani when they were living in Los Angeles. "It was such an exciting time," Rossdale recalled. "I was there for a number of years when we were just together, when we got married, we had our first kid there."
"That house has fantastic memories," Gavin continued. "That was right at the heigh of everything really fun work-wise, it was a really great time for us. So I have a great memory of that house. Beautiful time."
So Why Did It End?
If it was such a "beautiful time," you might be asking why their marriage had to end. Well, it seems neither of them wanted it to end. Last year, Rossdale admitted that he has a lot of shame connected to the situation: "I never thought I'd ever get divorced, so there's a simple shame in my life," he explained. And Gwen felt similarly, describing the lead-up to their divorce as "months of torture."
However, Gwen allegedly discovered that Gavin was cheating on her with their nanny, Mindy Mann, for three years, so it's not a surprise their time together came to a swift ending.
