The 37-year-old mom-of-one is back to rocking some truly head-turning outfits on the red carpet; and the leather dress she wore to the CMA Awards on Thursday, November 11th might just be the most provocative thing she has ever worn. And that’s saying something!
The “Roar” singer shared a jaw-dropping picture of herself in a skintight, one-shouldered, leather Vivienne Westwood floor-length dress on Instagram before she headed to the awards ceremony – and you know it was a huge hit with her 141 million followers, as it received just under two million likes. Wow! Katy accessorized her super-daring look with a long pearl necklace, and wore her hair in a cute and very on-trend top knot. She kept her eye makeup relatively minimal save for some enormous lashes (of course!) and let her piercing blue eyes command the rest of the attention. She looked flawless!

The dress was one of the sexiest things we have seen the American Idol judge wear in years, and although many followers commented on it, the majority of Katy's comments section was actually all about her dramatic hair change. In the same post, which she captioned, "i just think it's time to give them everything they want," Katy also included a video of the drastic hair dyeing process, which as you can imagine, went down a storm with all of her followers.
"Love your dark hair !!!!" wrote a fan, while another slightly more hyperbolic comment read: "OMG THE REAL BLACK HAIR IS BACK!" "I support this change. Wowwww," added another, in relation to Katy going over to the dark side. "Blackty is backty!!!!!" exclaimed another. Oh, and let's not forget that a certain Orlando Bloom casually commented too, writing: "Finally" followed by a red heart emoji. We guess it's safe to say that we know what the Pirates of the Caribbean actor's hair color preference is!
