You may think that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez have it all, but that’s not actually the case, as the Emmy Award-winning journalist reportedly has her sights set on the White House!
According to reports, Sánchez, 56, who married the Amazon founder, 62, in a lavish star-studded, multi-day ceremony in Venice last year, now wants her husband to “run for president.” The idea reportedly came following their recent visit to the White House, where she is said to have liked the idea of becoming the next First Lady. Lauren Sánchez Reportedly Wants Jeff Bezos To 'Run For President'
Lauren Sánchez reportedly wants Jeff Bezos to "run for President" – it happened for Donald Trump, so why not? – and she apparently wants it to happen quite soon, as she wants them to be the next couple in the White House after Donald and Melania Trump leave.
Sánchez reportedly liked what she saw when she visited the White House for a state dinner on September 24th (pictured above) during Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit, and is now reportedly asking her husband to consider politics as his next career move.
An insider told Rob Shuter's Naughty But Nice Substack that the Black Ops Aviation founder seemed to love the "idea of President Bezos" and wants to become the next First Lady. The insider said: "She talks about legacy, influence and what Jeff could do that money alone cannot buy. And yes, she can absolutely see herself as First Lady."

According to the report, Bezos has become "one of the most powerful men alive" after conquering the business world, but Sánchez reportedly thinks there is still more for him to accomplish. Another source said: "Her question is always: What's left? In her mind, the presidency is the ultimate final act."
It's not known whether Bezos would actually do it, but the source said he "listens to Lauren," so it seemingly isn't out of the question. Especially since she has reportedly already brought him out of his "comfort zone."
The source said she "doesn't dream small" and added: "She can already picture President Bezos – and herself standing beside him as First Lady."

The Internet Doesn't Think It's A Good Idea
The reports didn't exactly go down well with people online. Although there was a small number of people who didn't mind the idea, with one person writing, "He has my vote. He would fix this mess in 4 years," the majority made it clear that they weren't on board with the idea of President Bezos and First Lady Sánchez…
"Delusions of grandeur. Her image as First Lady... well… NO," slammed one critic. "Can't we left and right agree that this would be a monumental mistake?" asked a second, as a third quipped: "She alone is the reason that will never happen. Sánchez is about as much First Lady material as Jocelyn James."
"Oh please. Lauren is lacking in class and discretion. No matter, Jeff Bezos would never win a primary," wrote a fourth. "We don't want your husband as POTUS and certainly don't want you as FLOTUS," added a fifth, as a sixth insisted: "I would never vote for him."
