Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are officially on the Practical Magic 2 promo trail, and fans couldn’t be more excited to see two of Hollywood’s biggest stars reunite to promote the long-awaited sequel to the 1998 movie, which hits theaters on September 11th.
The seemingly ageless actresses, who reprise their roles as the Owens sisters in the sequel, made a surprise, unannounced appearance at a screening of the original movie at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Saturday, August 1st, leaving fans completely in awe with their coordinating witch-inspired black looks.

Nicole Kidman Wears A ‘Fantastic Witchy Dress’ For ‘Practical Magic’ Screening
The 59-year-old Oscar-winner wore a custom KNWLS black slinky dress featuring a corseted waist, a sweetheart neckline, and subtle cut-outs to reveal just a tiny glimpse of skin. She chose to forgo any jewelry so the dress could command all the attention.
The Practical Magic 2 shoot seemed to come at a significant time in Kidman’s personal life. Filming is said to have provided a welcome distraction as her marriage to Keith Urban was coming to an end, with production reportedly wrapping on September 13th, 2025, and the Nine Perfect Strangers actress announcing that she had filed for divorce on September 30th, 2025. Fast forward almost a year, and her life couldn’t be more different, as some reports claim she’s dating private equity investor Michael Reinstein. And we bet he’d love this outfit too!
“She looks amazing,” gushed one fan on Instagram. “This is amazing… what a fantastic witchy dress,” praised a second, while a third exclaimed: “So fab!” “Beautiful dress,” complimented a fourth, while a fifth called her “iconic.”

Sandra Bullock’s ‘Chic’ Black Ensemble Also Wins Fans Over
The Lost City actress, 62, also an Academy Award winner, turned heads with her all-black look for the Cinespia event too. She wore a sheer black dress with a tulle skirt, and teamed it with a structured black blazer layered over the top.
The Miss Congeniality alum’s appearance was very welcome among her fans, as she previously revealed that she wasn’t interested in returning to acting unless the right project came along at the right time, choosing instead to focus on her family. After stepping back to focus on raising her children following the death of her longtime partner, Bryan Randall, the Blind Side actress said the timing of filming Practical Magic 2 lined up perfectly with her children’s school vacations, making it an opportunity she couldn’t pass up.
