Sperry has just released a new collaboration that is entirely focused on sustainability!
Sperry x BIONIC features men’s, women’s and kid’s styles made of plastic recovered from marine and coastal environments.
The Classic Boat shoe, Captain’s CVO canvas sneaker and women’s Crest Vibe sneaker have all been reimagined in new colorways for spring. Each pair is made of an estimated 5 recovered plastic bottles.
BIONIC Yarn is a material engineering company that “addresses ocean plastic pollution in marine and coastal environments,” according to the release.
The collection also features eco-friendly packaging, such as shoe boxes made from post-consumer recycled materials and printed with water or soy-based inks.
The line is a part of Sperry’s recent sustainability platform, “Look Good, Do Good.”
The entire collection retails for $70-$100. Shop now:
