We never thought we would see the day when Eva Mendes would finally open up about her marriage to Ryan Gosling!
But thanks to a heated exchange the actress just had with an Instagram troll over comments that Ryan should let her “out more,” we are learning more about the notoriously private pair than ever before. Oh, boy–gotta love social media!

It started when the 46-year-old actress shared a black and white post on Instagram on Sunday, October 4th.
“Went for a run on the beach this morning. No I didn’t. This picture was taken at least 15 years ago. Haven’t seen a beach this year. Haven’t been on a run this year,” she captioned the sarcastic post.
In the comments section, the troll wrote, “You need to tell Ryan to get you out more.” Ouch!

But Mendes wasn’t one to take the comment lying down. “No thank you, I’m good,” she replied. “Rather be home with my man than anywhere else in the world.” We almost fell off our chair when we saw her reply!
If you recall, the “The Place Beyond the Pines” co-stars are very low-key about their romance, rarely appearing on red carpet together or speaking about their relationship in interviews. They haven’t even been photographed together very much!

This might explain why fans are concerned about them not getting out much--plus, that mixed with Mendes' own caption about not getting to the beach or even out to exercise in 2020.

Other users chimed in on the exchange, with one joking that they would “rather be at home with her man too.” Same here!
The pair are parents to Esmeralda, 6, and Amada, 4, who they've kept completely off social media.
The "Hitch" star wrote on Instagram earlier this year, “I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids. I’ll talk about them, of course, with limits, but I won’t post pictures of our daily life. And since my children are so little and don’t understand what posting their image really means, I don’t have their consent. And I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give consent.” Makes sense!

We also learned, via Us Weekly, that the couple don't have a nanny--which might explain why Eva doesn't get to leave the house much!
“They’re hands-on parents and don’t have any nannies,” a source told the magazine. “Being confined to their home with two small children is exhausting at times, especially without hired help.”
Wow--it's almost unimaginable to think of stars with resources like Ryan and Eva not to use them on some form of childcare!
And it turns out they've been spending quarantine like many of us! Who needs a ranch in Idaho when you have “the park and farmers markets” in their local LA. They've also been "reading, watching movies and cooking together." How quant!
