After making his runway debut during Gucci’s Times Square takeover in May—where fans poked fun at his stiff “RoboCop” catwalk and even compared his appearance to that of his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen—Tom Brady doesn’t appear to be slowing down his fashion ambitions.
The former NFL star recently landed a new Gucci campaign and interview with GQ, but once again, his fashion-forward look left the internet divided. This time, fans had plenty to say about everything from his outfit and pose to the apparent editing in the photos.
In one image, the 49-year-old is seen sitting and leaning back on a staircase covered in Persian-style carpeting while wearing a satin-metallic green Gucci suit. He opted to go shirtless underneath the Gucci blazer, pairing it with matching trousers. Brady gazed directly into the camera while sporting a deep side part and a simple bracelet. Tom Brady Fans Troll Him Over Him GQ Shoot
As soon as the photos were shared online, fans flooded the comments with humorous reactions, with some questioning whether the image had been heavily edited.
“Um, did he lose a bunch of weight, or is this editing gone wrong? Look at his head and hands compared to his body,” one person wrote on Instagram.
“That’s a hard NO for me!” another commented.
“Looks super edited,” someone else said.
“Is this a midlife crisis?” another asked.
“The only Tom that’s relevant to Gucci is Ford,” someone joked, referencing Tom Ford.
“Now he is Gisele Buchening…” another quipped.
“Doesn’t even look like him,” someone else wrote.
“Trying to look like Gisele,” another added.
“He’s so hot and he looks so awkward here,” a fan commented.
“That is not a flattering photo of Tom, at all,” another person said.
“Leave the modeling to your exes,” someone else joked.

Tom Gets Candid On Doing More Fashion Campaigns
Despite the mixed reactions, the father of three appears to be enjoying his new venture into fashion. When GQ asked whether he sees more fashion campaigns in his future, he made it clear that he’s keeping an open mind.
“I would never say never to doing anything, so if there was an opportunity that presented itself that I thought was really fun and new, I would definitely be open to it,” Brady told the publication.
He added that “the only place for growth is outside your comfort zone,” describing his Gucci debut as an opportunity to try something he had “never really done on a big stage.”
