The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Your eyes can speak volumes for you, especially when words won’t suffice. Check out these three products to ensure your peepers proclaim nothing less than perfection.

Ponds Bare & Repair Eye Make-up Remover

New from the cold cream experts at Ponds, the Bare and Repair Eye Make-up Remover is fantastic. It’s not greasy, like most eye make-up removers so it works well for women who wear contacts (and anyone who prefers not to cloud their vision in the name of make-up removal.) The vitamin E base is great for the sensitive skin around your eyes. I gave it the ultimate test: water-proof mascara. One swipe took it all away, no raccoon-eye residue. On sale for only $4.12 at drugstore.com

Perfect Beauty Tweezers

Tame your brows and tweeze strays in style. Perfect Beauty’s tweezers are state-of-the art when it comes to hair removal. High quality stainless steel, hand-filed tips, and free lifetime sharpening are all great benefits but what’s really fun are the whimsical colors and variety of styles. The Twinkle Tweezers are decked out in genuine Swarovski crystals, adding a little bling to your beauty regimen. The precision tips and plucking power give the Tweezerman brand a run for its money. The Groovy Tweezer’s design claims to ergonomically provide a painless pluck. Find them both at perfectbeautyonline.com.

Plantogen Corrective Eye Gel

My roommate squealed when I pulled out Plantogen’s Corrective Eye Gel to give it a try. She’s from New Zealand and Plantogen is a huge beauty brand down under. The “plant derived spa therapy” combines scientific technology with pure plant extracts. The gel was sticky but absorbed quickly. I could instantly feel that the skin around my eyes was tighter. I can see myself using this frequently for a pick-me-up. But with caution, it does contain Witch Hazel which can be drying. Though I don’t anticipate overuse being a problem because first I’ll have to steal it back from my roommate. Plantogen may be hard to find in the States but you can get it at natureunplugged.co.nz for only $34.62.
