Charlize Theron sparked Ozempic rumors and huge concern from fans during The Odyssey press tour after appearing thinner than ever at the film’s Paris premiere at the Grand Rex Cinema on July 8th.

The mom-of-two’s appearance at the premiere quickly became a talking point on social media, with some fans even comparing her weight loss to Ariana Grande‘s and questioning whether she had used the popular weight-loss drug to achieve an even slimmer appearance.

The Oscar-winning actress, 50, is currently promoting The Odyssey alongside co-stars Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, and more, but her noticeably slimmer frame attracted just as much attention as the star-studded film, if not more!

Theron wore a stunning black and white Dior Fall 2026 lace dress for the Paris premiere. The Dior ambassador's striking dress featured a super-daring plunging neckline and a racy thigh-high slit, and she accessorized with a pair of simple black strappy heels.

The Old Guard 2 actress completed the ensemble with soft makeup and wore her hair in a slicked-back down do, allowing the intricate lace dress to take center stage. However, despite the striking and head-turning red carpet look, many fans were solely focused on her noticeably slimmer appearance.

Fan Comments

"She was so stunning. It's so sad – what is everyone's obsession with being so thin? So sad," wrote one upset fan on Instagram. "She was already very thin. I don't understand the need to be a skeleton," echoed a second, while a third added: "That doesn't look good."

"She's always been thin. Why would she need Ozempic?" asked a fourth confused fan, while a fifth wrote: "She actually looks unwell... sad."

"She was beautiful. Not now. Skin and bones," criticized a sixth. "OMG. She looks like Ariana Grande. And that's NOT a compliment!" exclaimed a seventh, while an eighth added: "I hope this is for a role. Ugh!"
