But Kidman reportedly “made it clear” that the marriage was over, partly because she had already moved on!
The Nine Perfect Strangers actress was the one who reportedly filed for divorce, with claims that tensions had been building for some time, including reports that Urban sang another woman’s name in a song he had originally written for Kidman. The couple were also said to have been living separate lives before the divorce filing, which makes Urban’s reported hope for reconciliation even more surprising.
The “Messed Up as Me” singer has reportedly moved on since his split from Kidman, with rumors linking him to 26-year-old rising country artist, Karley Scott Collins. The "Somebody Like You" singer reportedly was hopeful that he and the Practical Magic 2 star could work things out! "Keith absolutely wanted Nicole back," an insider revealed, according to Ok! magazine. "He believed they could work through their problems."
The source went on to say that the Babygirl actress had already moved on when the country musician was allegedly hoping for them to give their marriage another chance. They said she "made it clear the marriage was over," and is now focused on maintaining "a healthy co-parenting relationship" with Urban for the sake of their two daughters.
The insider added that "romance is off the table" right now, and that their daughters are the priority. According to reports, Kidman has 306 days a year with the girls, while Urban sees them every other weekend. The arrangement is said to be working for the girls, who are reportedly firmly on their mother's side!

A family friend allegedly said: "The girls are really focused on mom right now. They're adjusting to all the changes, and it's natural they want to protect their space."
