Keith Urban reportedly was not ready to give up on his marriage to Nicole Kidman after she filed for divorce following 19 years of marriage. But according to insiders, he was the only one who felt that way!
According to Ok! magazine, an insider claimed the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer, 58, “absolutely” wanted to reconcile with the Oscar-winning actress, 59, after the split, believing they could work through their problems. But Kidman reportedly “made it clear” that the marriage was over, partly because she had already moved on!
The Nine Perfect Strangers actress was the one who reportedly filed for divorce, with claims that tensions had been building for some time, including reports that Urban sang another woman’s name in a song he had originally written for Kidman. The couple were also said to have been living separate lives before the divorce filing, which makes Urban’s reported hope for reconciliation even more surprising.
The “Messed Up as Me” singer has reportedly moved on since his split from Kidman, with rumors linking him to 26-year-old rising country artist, Karley Scott Collins. It is not entirely clear whether the Big Little Lies actress is dating anyone new right now, although she was photographed talking with private equity investor Michael Reinstein on a hotel balcony in Portofino, Italy earlier this month. She has reportedly made it clear that co-parenting their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, is her main focus.

Keith Urban Reportedly Wanted Nicole Kidman Back After She Filed For Divorce
The "Somebody Like You" singer reportedly was hopeful that he and the Practical Magic 2 star could work things out! "Keith absolutely wanted Nicole back," an insider revealed, according to Ok! magazine. "He believed they could work through their problems."
The source went on to say that the Babygirl actress had already moved on when the country musician was allegedly hoping for them to give their marriage another chance. They said she "made it clear the marriage was over," and is now focused on maintaining "a healthy co-parenting relationship" with Urban for the sake of their two daughters.
The insider added that "romance is off the table" right now, and that their daughters are the priority. According to reports, Kidman has 306 days a year with the girls, while Urban sees them every other weekend. The arrangement is said to be working for the girls, who are reportedly firmly on their mother's side!

Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban's Daughters Are Reportedly Siding With Their Mom
Earlier reports claimed the couple's daughters have been on Kidman's side since the start of their separation. One source alleged Urban felt "disrespected" when Sunday Rose attended the Met Gala with her mother in May, saying he believed he had missed out on an important moment in her life.
"I know that the Met Gala scene was very hurtful," an insider said at the time. "It was a public statement for Sunday. She's definitely on her mom's side. This public appearance is 100% a message of who she's chosen." They went on to say that younger daughter Faith Margaret is allegedly sending a similar message, adding: "He feels disrespected and cast aside by his own daughters."
It was also recently reported that the sisters unfollowed their father on social media, while celebrity reporter Rob Shuter has also claimed the teenagers are "refusing" to meet his rumored girlfriend. A family friend allegedly said: "The girls are really focused on mom right now. They're adjusting to all the changes, and it's natural they want to protect their space."
