Meghan Markle Forces Tears
In the video clips in question, Markle is standing with Jessica Chapnik Kahn, a survivor of the shooting, who is speaking about their experience during the attack. Chapnik Kahn spoke about shielding her daughter, who is around the same age as Princeess Lilibet, from gunfire, something that seemingly made Markle emotional, as she embraced the her tightly.
As Markle listens to Chapnik Kahn’s experience, though, she blinks quite excessively, seemingly attempting to bring tears to her eyes. She even wipes a hand across her face, an act of wiping away tears that weren’t there. Social media users were quick to notice this fake display of emotion, and didn’t hesitate to call her out.
