Last week we told you about the creepy cleavage trend that’s sweeping Instagram, and now comes another social media trend that’s actually WAY worse.
“Toblerone tunnels,” referring to the triangle shaped gap where the top of a woman’s thighs meet her bikini bottoms, are having a moment, PEOPLE points out. And we are not happy about it!
Are you kidding me?! The tunnels, which are even worse than thigh gaps, are the perfect example of how unrealistic body standards are becoming. And I’m not going to mince words: Instagram is to blame. The hashtag #tobleronetunnel started popping up on the platform earlier this spring, and there’s even *multiple* accounts (@tobleronetunnel, @tobleronetunnel_official) dedicated to them. Gross!

We want this trend to go away IMMEDIATELY, and are loving all the ways real women are clapping back at this insane notion on Twitter:
Yeah I’ve got a toblerone tunnel….otherwise known as my throat 🤭 #tobleronetunnel

My mouth is my toblerone tunnel and that's the reason I don't have a thigh gap.

“BYE FELICIA!” is all we have to say to the tunnels. Not to you, Toblerone. You can stay.
