Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are receiving plenty of love online after the former president shared a video of the couple enjoying a performance by Uniting Voices Chicago during the grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center last month. Fans quickly flooded the comments section to gush over the former president and first lady, with many admitting they “miss” the couple!
The Obama Presidential Center, located on Chicago’s South Side, officially celebrated its grand opening on June 18th before opening to the public on June 19th. The long-awaited campus, which has been years in the making, marked the occasion with performances from Chicago-born Jennifer Hudson, who sang the national anthem before joining Uniting Voices Chicago for a rendition of “The Impossible Dream.”
Christina Aguilera also took to the stage to perform “What a Wonderful World,” while John Legend sang “Someday We’ll All Be Free” before joining Common and Uniting Voices Chicago for a performance of “Glory.”

During the celebration, Obama described the Center as "a vibrant, living celebration of community," adding that he hopes it will bring people together through art, music, sports, and civic engagement.
The former POTUS shared a video of himself and Michelle arriving at the event before watching Uniting Voices Chicago perform, alongside the caption: "There's nothing like a choir to get you fired up!"

The video quickly racked up thousands of likes and comments, with many Instagram users praising the couple and reminiscing about Obama's time in the White House.
