With that said, it’s helpful to get an understanding of how some of your settings can be programmed to actually make your phone run better. Perhaps your phone has been slowing down more so than usual lately — it takes forever to load web pages and charging it to 80 percent feels nothing short of a chore because it constantly drags. Changing a few settings can really help propel your phone forward in terms of speed. Tech expert say you should be enabling this setting to rapidly increase your iPhone speed.
Turn Off Motion Effects
It isn’t always about the setting your turn ON — the ones you turn off can also really help your phone run faster.
“When we tilt our phone or open and shut applications, Apple employs a variety of effects to give iOS a feeling of depth and depth perception,” explains Daniela Sawyer, founder and business development strategist of FindPeopleFast.net. “These motion effects, in general, enhance our user experience. However, these nice visual candies do not come without a price. These effects utilize a significant share of our phone’s processing power, and they may even result in jerky animations if the phone is overloaded with other important processes.”

Turning these settings off frees up a lot of processing power for other useful tasks and increases the phone's speed, according to Sawyer. “iOS provides a feature to minimize these effects by enabling a setting known as ‘Reduce Motion,’” Sawyer says. “It can be accessed in Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion. Turning the toggle switch to the "On" position turns these visual effects off. The next similar feature is ‘Reduce Transparency,’ which minimizes the transparent object's effects on the screen. If accessed from the Accessibility panel, choose Increase Contrast from the drop-down menu above Reduce Motion and then select Reduce Transparency from the toggle switch to the left of Reduce Motion. This option reduces transparency and blur effects.”
These settings free up our phones from a lot of complex graphics duty, which allows your device's performance to vastly improve, Sawyer notes. Best of all: you will likely not even miss this feature once it’s turned off — but you will appreciate having a speedier phone.
