My husband likes to complain that our shared bathroom cabinets are overflowing with beauty and skincare products.
I get it … sort of. But at the same time, whenever I hear the word “sale,” I’m suddenly convinced there are at least five more things I could potentially need. Case in point: CVS recently announced its Fall Epic Beauty Sale, running August 16-29, so obviously I had to take a look. After all, CVS’ beauty sales only happen twice a year, in the fall and spring! The current seasonal event is offering $10 off $30 or more on beauty and personal care products with a digital coupon, which feels like an excellent excuse to stock up.
Plus, it’s not my fault that CVS makes it almost too easy to get your beauty haul. You can order online or through the CVS app and pick it up at your local store, often within an hour, or opt for same-day delivery on eligible products if you’re feeling impatient (no judgment, I get it). If you’d rather have your haul come straight to your door, standard shipping is typically free on orders of $35 or more.

From makeup and skincare to haircare, grooming essentials, and everything in between, I found plenty worth adding to my cart. I’m sure my husband will have a lot to say, but here’s everything I think I might need, especially while the deals are this good.
Cosmetics
e.l.f. Halo Glow Highlighter ($15)
e.l.f.’s Halo Glow Highlighter gives your skin a bright, dewy radiance without making you look like you slathered on highlighter. Plus, it pulls double duty as makeup and skincare, (shoutout to its squalane and hyaluronic acid formulation). Depending on your preferred look, you can wear it on its own, under makeup, or just tap it onto the high points of your face for a little extra glow.
e.l.f. Soft Glam Bronzer Stick ($7)
If you’re intimidated by bronzer, start here. e.l.f.’s Soft Glam Bronzer Stick might be the easiest bronzer you’ll ever use—just swipe it on, blend it out, and you’re left with a natural-looking glow. The creamy, buildable formula makes it practically foolproof!
Revlon Glimmer Lip Balm ($12.59)
A lip balm that works hard day and night? Sign me up. Revlon’s Glimmer Lip Treat Balm + Mask works as a juicy, glossy balm during the day and a rich overnight mask when your lips need some extra TLC. Plus, the cushiony applicator delivers a hint of sheer color, so you get hydration, shine, and a little something extra in one swipe.
One+Other Cotton Triangles, 30 CT ($2.49)
You literally never know when you’re going to need a cotton pad. Removing stubborn eye makeup? Sure. Applying toner or a face mask? Yes, definitely. Cleaning up a rogue nail polish spill? Obviously! These 100% cotton triangles are soft, lint-free, and super handy to have stashed in your bathroom cabinet. At $2.49 for 30, you might as well stock up.
Kiss imPRESS Lash Clusters ($16.99)
I was just at a wedding where I wore falsies, and it was a good reminder that I really love the way my eyes look with a little extra lash drama. Note to self: buy more! The Kiss imPRESS Lash Clusters make it especially easy to get the look without dealing with glue. They’re pre-bonded, press on underneath your natural lashes, and can last up to 24 hours.
CoverGirl Clean Fresh Oil Stick ($12.99)
I’ve loved all things CoverGirl since the “Easy, Breezy, Beautiful” days, and that includes this newer lip oil stick. It gives you the juicy shine and sheer tint of a traditional lip oil, but the balmy stick format makes application totally mess-free. It’s also packed with nourishing oils and plant-derived squalane for softer, smoother lips.
Milani Tubing Mascara ($14.49)
Another way to fake it ’til you make it when it comes to longer lashes? This Milani tubing mascara. It wraps each lash in tiny, tube-like polymers to add length and lift, without the commitment of actual falsies.
Personal Care
Lume Whole Body Deodorant ($16.49)
Real talk: sometimes your armpits are sweaty…and so are other parts of your body. Lume Whole Body Deodorant is made for pretty much anywhere you might get sweaty, from underboobs to feet and everything in between. Its pH-optimized formula works to block odor before it starts, with up to 72 hours of odor control.
Tree Hut Shea Sugar Exfoliating Body Scrub ($10.99)
Your face gets all the attention—and OK, I’m a huge believer in weekly facial exfoliation—but doesn’t the rest of your body deserve a little love? Tree Hut’s Shea Sugar Body Scrub buffs away dull, rough skin with real sugar, while shea butter and a blend of nourishing oils keep you feeling super soft and smooth. Oh, and I’m obsessed with that Moroccan Rose scent!
Harry’s Men’s 5-Blade Razor Pack ($12.49)
Ladies, don’t forget about the men in your life! While you’re stocking up on beauty essentials, you might as well grab something for the guy who’s still using the same razor he’s had forever. Harry’s 5-Blade Razor comes with five sharp blades, a flexible hinge that contours to the face, and a precision trimmer for those hard-to-reach spots. He’ll love it.
Billie DreamPop Razor Kit ($11.79)
My sister has sworn by billie’s razors for years, so I’m taking her word for it that these things are good. The DreamPop Razor (aka the internet’s favorite razor) has five sharp blades surrounded by aloe shave soap, helping it glide over skin for a smooth, close shave. There’s also a magnetic holder to keep your razor on the shower wall, which is great, because now it won’t marinate in a shower puddle (like mine so often does).
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion ($11.79)
Aveeno is the OG! I’ve had a bottle in my bathroom cabinet since I was a teenager, and can’t imagine my skincare routine without it. The lightweight lotion absorbs in seconds, but still delivers 48-hour moisture, leaving your skin super hydrated but never greasy.
Sensodyne Toothpaste ($9.29)
This is the toothpaste my husband and I actually use every day, so I can personally vouch for it. He tends to have sensitive gums, and Sensodyne is especially great for that. It helps protect against sensitivity while also supporting gum health and strengthening enamel.
Facial Care
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($6.99)
Whenever I travel, I go into a minor tailspin if I realize I forgot these. I’m very particular about taking off all my makeup before bed, and these towelettes make it so easy, even without my usual bathroom setup. They’re soft and gentle, but still remove everything from makeup and sunscreen to waterproof mascara.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water ($11.49)
Remember when I said I was particular about getting all the makeup off my face? Garnier’s Micellar Water is my secret weapon. I use it as the first step in my double-cleansing routine to gently lift away makeup, dirt, and oil before I go in with my regular cleanser. It feels super gentle, too, so I never have to choose between clean skin and stripped skin.
Loops Detoxifying Hydrogel Face Mask ($5.99)
Speaking of clean skin, sometimes your skin just needs a reset! Loops’ Detoxifying Hydrogel Face Mask gives you that in just 10 minutes flat, using mineral-rich volcanic ash to help draw out impurities and aloe vera to hydrate. I’ve used this after a sweaty workout or long day in the sun when my skin needs a little pick-me-up.
Hero Mighty Patch, Original Acne Patch ($12.99)
I had some pretty bad skin flare-ups a couple of years ago, and Hero’s Mighty Patch was a total lifesaver. I especially loved putting on patches before bed because by the time I woke up, the pimple(s) looked way less scary. The patch absorbs the gunk overnight while also keeping you from picking at it, which, for me, is half the battle.
Hair
TRESemmé Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray ($8.89)
I love a good hairspray, but I do not love hair that feels like it’s been shellacked into place. For that same reason, I like TRESemmé’s Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray—it gives you flexible, all-day hold without the stiffness or stickiness. It also helps keep frizz and flyaways at bay for up to 24 hours (a must for me).
Schwarzkopf Temporary Root Hair Color ($12.99)
Root touch-up day doesn’t have to be a whole thing, thanks to Schwarkopf’s Temporary Root Hair Color. It gives you instant coverage for up to 100% of visible gray, while also making roots look up to 37% thicker. More pros: it dries quickly, won’t leave behind a mess, and washes out with your next shampoo. So go ahead; buy yourself a little more time between hair appointments!
got2b Spiking Glue ($3.69)
Raise your hand if you need your hair to stay put! got2b’s Spiking Glue is your girl. It delivers a seriously strong, water-resistant hold that’s even wind-tunnel tested, whether you’re creating sky-high spikes or just going for an intentionally piece-y look. It’s basically a $4 insurance policy for your hairstyle.
Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie ($15.99)
I’m a curly-haired girl who has spent approximately half my life trying to make my hair straight, so embracing my natural texture is still a work in progress. When I do let my curls have their moment, though, this curl enhancing smoothie is one of my go-tos. It helps define curls, tame frizz, restore moisture, and add shine without weighing them down. It’s pretty much everything I need for a good hair day!
Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil ($10.99)
Did BeautyTok make you buy this yet? Mielle’s Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil has gone viral, and I totally get why. The nutrient-rich formula helps nourish the scalp, condition dry hair, smooth split ends, and add shine. You can use it as a daily treatment or give your scalp and ends a little extra love whenever they need it.
SPF
Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Spray SPF 50 ($15.83)
Sunscreen is skincare! Actually, it’s literally the most important thing you can do for your skin. Go get your daily dose of SPF with Blue Lizard’s Mineral Sunscreen Spray, which conveniently dries clear on your skin and doesn’t leave behind a sticky feeling. It’s also water-resistant for up to 80 minutes and made with aloe for sensitive skin.
Shave
Philips Norelco OneBlade Face Trimmer ($45.29)
My husband’s birthday is coming up, and I have my eye on this razor as a potential gift for him. I like it because it gives him a little more control over his facial hair, with a flexible 360° blade that moves with the contours of the face. Clean-shaven, or a little bit of stubble, this blade can handle it all.
Remember, if you’re going to add more goodies to your bathroom cabinet, you might as well save while you do it. Head to CVS to shop these finds and save $10 when you spend $30 or more through August 29.
