Resurfaced Clip Of Ashton Kutcher Talking About Hilary Duff On 'Punk'd' Goes Viral On Social Media

The footage that's currently making its rounds online comes from a 2003 episode of MTV's Punk'd, the hidden-camera prank series that Ashton hosted and used to pull elaborate tricks on celebrities. When the episode aired, the singer was one of Hollywood's biggest young stars thanks to her big role on Disney Channel, and she was just 15 years old. The prank show's host, meanwhile, was 25.

In the clip, the That '70s Show star introduces Hilary while discussing her career, mentioning Lizzie McGuire, her music, and her upcoming role in Cheaper by the Dozen. He then makes the comment that has prompted the renewed backlash.

"She's one of the girls that we're all waiting for to turn 18," he says in the clip, which can be viewed here. "Along with the Olsen twins."

The clip has resurfaced several times over the years, including when Ashton and his wife, Mila Kunis, received tremendous backlash for supporting actor-turned-criminal Danny Masterson in 2023. Three years later, it's angering people once again.

Social Media Users Slam Ashton After Viewing The 'Punk'd' Clip

As the clip continues circulating online, fans have been quick to share their reactions to the dad-of-two's remarks, with many describing the footage as disturbing and inappropriate given the "So Yesterday" singer's age at the time.

The backlash has also brought added attention to other resurfaced clips and rumors involving Ashton from the same era, adding to the discussion surrounding his past behavior and comments about underage young women.

"Basically what he's saying is, they are waiting until they're 'legal,' if the legal age was younger, they wouldn't hesitate," wrote an Instagram user. "It's sick."

"Lately I've been starting to see all the creepy [stuff] he did back then and thought it was normal," admitted an Instagram user.

One user pointed out, "This is horrifying then and now," as another added, "He's been disgusting."
