Denise Richards Opens Up About Getting A Facelift On The 'Dumb Blonde' Podcast
The Real Housewives star is getting candid about the extensive facial plastic surgery she underwent last year, after previously sharing before-and-after photos of her transformation.
Now, on an August 3rd episode of Bunnie XO's Dumb Blonde podcast, the two women began opening up about their plastic surgery journeys, and Denise revealed that she underwent the facelift in June 2025, deciding on a more comprehensive procedure with Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei. Her surgery included work on her lower and upper face, neck, brow, and upper eyelids, along with a lip lift and fat grafting. In the past, she admitted that she had "done a little Botox," but was never fully satisfied with the results, which is why she ultimately decided to take the plunge for the facelift, even though she was originally "terrified."
"The only analogy I could give is like you remodel a house and do one room and the room looks great, but it doesn't match the rest of the house," she said. "So, I told him, 'You're the artist.' His work was impeccable; I saw so many before-and-afters. He did everything."
After describing each bit of her face that was affected by the lift, Denise added, "It was the best thing I did for myself."

Since she got her facelift, the 55-year-old and her plastic surgeon have shared before-and-after photos of her results. The same photos have been reposted and shared by other media outlets, causing a large wave of reactions from fans and social media users. It didn't take long for the pictures to go viral on platforms like Instagram, and many of the reactions from fans were rather positive, as they thought the facelift looked a lot more natural and seamless than some of the work other big stars have gotten.
On Instagram, her doctor, Dr. Ben Talei, wrote, "It was an incredible pleasure and honor to be trusted with her restoration and, more importantly, the preservation of her character and beauty," when they first revealed her facelift in March.
