Mila Kunis stepped in for Kelly Ripa on the July 29th episode of Live With Kelly and Mark as the longtime host continues to recover from oral surgery—and she had a familiar face by her side.
The Black Swan actress joined Mark Consuelos as co-host for the episode, bringing her signature effortless style to the morning show. For the appearance, the actress wore a crisp white collared button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, pairing it with black wide-leg trousers and a buckle belt cinched around her waist.
Meanwhile, her husband, Ashton Kutcher, made a surprise appearance from behind the scenes. The actor was spotted backstage wearing a gray jacket over a white T-shirt as he supported his wife during her hosting duties.

Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher Appear On Live With Kelly and Mark
During the episode, Kunis and Consuelos discussed several trending headlines, including NFL quarterback Baker Mayfield's decision to leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—a sports development that left the Friends with Benefits alum stumped.
"My husband's backstage," Kunis joked. "He's gonna be like, 'How dare she not know.'"
When the audience reacted to the casual mention of Kutcher, Kunis laughed and added, "I love that you gasped that my husband’s backstage. He is backstage, guys. He's really real, and he's here."
The couple's two children, daughter Wyatt, 11, and son Dimitri, 9, also accompanied their parents to New York City.
The 42-year-old opened up about how much her children were enjoying their time in the city, particularly because they were getting to experience something they aren't used to at home in Los Angeles.
"The novelty of walking around for them is a thing," she explained. "Nobody walks in L.A."

Mila Says She Married Her 'Best Friend'
Kunis and the 48-year-old have remained a prominent Hollywood couple throughout their marriage, supporting each other through both their professional careers and periods of intense public scrutiny.
The pair have faced controversy in recent years, including backlash surrounding Kutcher's former That '70s Show co-star Danny Masterson and scrutiny over his past friendship with Sean "Diddy" Combs. Despite the attention, Kunis and Kutcher have continued to appear supportive of one another publicly.
For Mila, Wednesday's Live appearance offered a lighter glimpse into their family life, with Kutcher quietly cheering her on from backstage while their children explored New York City.
The mom of two said in June on The Drew Barrymore Show that one of the biggest reasons their marriage works is because they essentially grew up together.
“I married my best friend,” she said. “When we reconnected, I was 27. I was a very different person than I was when I was 25, let alone when I was 21 or 19. You go through different changes and you evolve. Hopefully you grow, you become different.”
