In an unusual public sighting, Kristi Noem and Corey Lewandowski were reportedly spotted spending time together outdoors along the shores of Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota.
According to reports and video obtained by TMZ, the pair were seen at an outdoor table at a restaurant in Wayzata, a wealthy suburb of Minneapolis. The mom of three appeared to be keeping a low profile, wearing a large bucket hat, a loose plaid shirt, shorts and sneakers, while Lewandowski opted for a casual T-shirt and shorts.

At one point, Noem appeared to show Lewandowski something on her phone, with the two laughing together. They were later seen leaving the establishment and biking away together, making for an especially romantic outing.
The sighting comes after Kristi and Lewandowski faced intense scrutiny over their professional relationship during their time at the Department of Homeland Security.
Lewandowski reportedly served as an unpaid senior adviser and acting chief of staff under Noem at DHS. During a March 2026 House Judiciary Committee hearing, Noem dismissed questions about a possible personal relationship between the two as "tabloid garbage."
However, internal DHS records later reportedly contradicted Noem's sworn testimony regarding Lewandowski's role in agency spending, indicating that he had regularly signed off on high-value contracts.
President Donald Trump removed the 54-year-old from her position as Secretary of Homeland Security on March 5, 2026, following congressional scrutiny and bipartisan criticism surrounding her tenure, including controversy over a $220M taxpayer-funded advertising campaign and her handling of immigration enforcement.
Trump subsequently moved Noem into a newly created role as special envoy for the Shield of the Americas security initiative.

Kristi Noem To Divorce Bryon Noem
Lewandowski, meanwhile, returned to his government and public affairs firm, Lewandowski Strategic Advisors.
The outing also comes amid reports that Noem is divorcing her husband of 34 years, Bryon Noem.
The couple, who were high school sweethearts and married in 1992, share three children.
Their separation followed controversy earlier in 2026 surrounding leaked photos and reports about Bryon's alleged online interactions and involvement with fetish communities.
Representatives for Noem responded and said the family was blindsided and devastated by Bryon's online activity.
