New Report Reveals Eric & Donald Trump Jr. Have Ties To Defense Companies Receiving Billion-Dollar Pentagon Contracts
One of the most talked about topics in United States politics since the Apprentice star recently re-entered the White House as president for a second term, is how his family has been involved.
From his early days as a presidential candidate, President Trump has had members of his family involved in his campaigns and administration, utilizing his friends and children to help him and take on various roles. His sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric, have gotten involved in their own ways, and according to a new report and investigation from the Washington Post, are benefiting financially in subtle, more complex ways.
The investigation revealed that the brothers are tied to investment firms that backed several military defense companies that have collectively been awarded approximately $3.2B in contracts from the Pentagon or Department of Defense since their father regained his title as President of the United States.
The publication's reporters found that the pair "invested in more than a dozen defense tech companies and other firms seeking businesses from the Pentagon and federal agencies." The report also states that some of those companies have billions more in potential contract options.

Social Media Users React To The New Report
Though the latest investigative report did not allege that the two famous Trump sons had personally awarded the defense companies their contracts or that they own the companies, they are tied through the investment firms involved with them, likely profiting from the contracts.
This has caused a large wave of backlash, with numerous social media users accusing the brothers of being "grifters," accusing them of finding more underground ways to further profit off their already successful father and his presidency. Additionally, users are calling out the situation due to the reported conflict of interest.
"I mean, let's just ignore the whole conflict of interest part," wrote a sarcastic Instagram user.
"So very wrong, but yet, here we are!" added another.
"The corruption continues!" commented one user, as another wrote, "The Trump family is scum."
"It seems impossible to keep up with the corruption," added a user.
