Donald Trump, 80, recently joked about his thinning hair during a rally in Texas, admitting that he was less than pleased with what he saw when he looked at the back of his head.
The president made the remarks during a rally in San Antonio on Wednesday, October 7, where he spoke for nearly two hours as he sought to rally support ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. At one point, The Apprentice star shifted the focus to his appearance, joking with the crowd about his hairline and describing himself as “depressed” after noticing the thinning.
“Wait a minute, I’m not happy right now. Get a little bit thin up there, I’m not happy. This is not good news, now I’m depressed,” Trump said at the podium.

He continued, “I said, I look really sharp tonight, then I just looked at myself from the back. This is not good. Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me?”
After watching the clip, many social media users focused less on Trump’s thinning hair and more on what they described as his rambling remarks.
“So many more flaws than thinning hair- the list is endless,” said one person.
Someone else wrote, “Our country is falling apart and people are just laughing at these corny jokes.”
Another added, “He should have just stayed at reality TV and not been the president.”
The lighthearted comments from Trump came after he had previously pushed back against speculation that he wears a wig, insisting that his hair is his own.

Donald Trump Shuts Down Wig Rumors
During a Rose Garden dinner at the White House on Wednesday, September 2, Trump recalled a 2024 campaign event in Ohio for then-Senate candidate Bernie Moreno.
The outdoor rally was held at an airfield in Vandalia, where strong winds reportedly caused teleprompters to blow off the stage.
The day was described by the Associated Press as a “wind-whipped airfield.”
Reflecting on the weather, he recalled how difficult it was to stand at the podium as the wind picked up.
“I went up to the speaker, and it was blowing so hard,” he said.
“You know, for years, I had to suffer with people saying, ‘He wears a wig.’”
The father of five then used the experience to push back against the longstanding speculation about his hair.
“I don’t wear a wig. But that night, they found out I did not wear a wig because if you did, it was not going to be on your head very long,” he continued.
