Cassie Ventura made a rare public appearance in London alongside her husband, Alex Fine. The singer joined Fine at the Season 2 premiere of MobLand at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Sept. 10, but while fans were excited to see her again, some claimed they barely recognized her.
Ventura, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight since the Diddy trial, stepped onto the red carpet in a gray strappy midi dress featuring a bustier-inspired sweetheart neckline and dramatic, sculptural detailing around the hips. She paired the look with brown crisscross ankle-strap heels.

For her beauty look, the 40-year-old wore her dark hair parted down the middle and styled straight with a sleek finish. She completed her glam with wispy lashes, bronzer and a coral-pink lip for a glowing makeup look.
Although many fans welcomed Ventura’s return, some social media users focused on what they perceived as changes to her appearance. Several commenters speculated about possible cosmetic work, while others blamed her glam team for the overall look.
“Her glam team failed her,” one person wrote.
“Did she get work done?” another asked.
“Why is her face giving Donatella Versace?!” a third commenter said.
“Why did she touch her face?” someone else wrote.
Another person claimed, “She done messed with her face. The energy on this picture is showing they're stressed.”
“There’s something different about both of them….I just can’t put my finger on it,” another commenter wrote.
“I didn't recognize her,” someone else admitted.
“Both of their faces look different,” another person added.

Cassie Flees The US Following Diddy Trial
Ventura’s appearance in London comes after she confirmed earlier this year that she had moved outside the United States and did not intend to return. In a May 1 court declaration filed in connection with another legal matter, Ventura stated, “I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.”
The model's decision to relocate came after she testified against her former boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs, during his federal criminal trial in 2025. Ventura spent several days on the witness stand detailing allegations of physical, emotional and sexual abuse during their relationship.
Combs was ultimately convicted on two counts related to transporting individuals for prostitution but was acquitted of the more serious sex-trafficking and racketeering charges.
Ventura and Combs also reached a $20M settlement in connection with her 2023 civil lawsuit, according to reports.
Since then, Ventura has largely kept a low profile while focusing on her family with Fine. The couple, who have three children together, appeared at the MobLand premiere as Fine continues his role in the Paramount+ crime drama. Season 2 is scheduled to premiere Sept. 18.
