Jesse Watters recently appeared particularly tan during an episode of Jesse Watters Primetime, where he conducted a widely discussed 25-minute interview with Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. While the conversation focused on politics and the culture wars, some viewers found themselves more distracted by Watters’ complexion.
The 48-year-old appeared on the show in a navy suit, white dress shirt and black tie, with his face looking noticeably more bronzed than in some of his older photos, in which he appeared to have a more natural pink-golden complexion.

“Jesse got cooked like his sun tan,” one person wrote, referring to El-Sayed’s sharp responses to some of Watters’ questions.
“Hmmmm, for someone who pushes [controversial] talking points, why is he spray-painting himself darker?” another person asked.
“Jesse looks awfully brown,” someone else commented.
“When you tan so dark,” another wrote.

Of course, Trump has long been associated with his distinctive orange-bronze complexion, which has become one of his most recognizable physical features. But some social media users have also pointed to what they perceive as a broader bronzed and heavily made-up aesthetic among certain figures in Trump’s political orbit.
In Trump’s second administration, media personalities, political insiders and beauty commentators have drawn attention to the polished, deeply bronzed look sported by some prominent members of his circle.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., for example, has also been photographed with a noticeably tanned complexion, while some women associated with Trump’s inner circle have embraced a highly glam aesthetic featuring extensions, sculpted makeup and cosmetic enhancements that social media users have dubbed the “Mar-a-Lago” look.
