Hunter Biden Reveals Visits From Joe Biden During His Addiction
On Monday’s episode of Dopey, titled, “Secret Service at the Crack House,”, Hunter opened up about some of his darkest days during his addition, some of which overlapped with his father’s time in office as Vice President.
“My dad showed up, he literally showed up at … my house twice, you know?” he explained. “And just knocked on the door and was like, what are we gonna do? I mean, again and again, he’d call and he’d call, and then when he wouldn’t get the calls, he literally would drive over with a motorcade. Like as small as he could possibly make it.”
“He said, ‘Please, like, what are you going to do tomorrow?” Hunter recalled. “What’s the plan?'”

Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms, the reactions were pretty divided. Many critics argued it wasn't a good use of White House resources and left comments like, "I'm not sure that showing up at a drug den is wise at all" and "Glad to see this is what he was using White House resources for."
"That family is a mess," another user wrote.
However, there were plenty of other users that defended Biden against the backlash. "Breaking news: former president loves and supports his son," one person wrote.
"Dads who love their kids show up even when their kids are spiraling," another person wrote. "I'm glad he's gotten clean!"
"Joe loved his son and stuck by him...I'm proud of him and his son," agreed another user.
"What a great father he was," a final user wrote. "And a good man."
