King Charles & Prince William 'Very Uncomfortable' With Prince Harry & Charles Spencer's Relationship
According to the National Examiner, Prince Harry's move back to the United Kingdom has only made his relationship with Charles Spencer stronger. "For Harry, it makes perfect sense because his mother's side of the family have all been nothing but warm and loving to him his entire life," a source explained. "They've always tried to protect him."
Harry is close with Charles, but also with Diana's sisters, Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale. "They have made him and his wife and children feel like they do have family in England during the lowest moments with his father and brother," the source continued.
Harry and Charles reportedly "rely on each other," too. In fact, when four advance copies of his memoir were stolen before publication, Harry was the first call Charles made. "Harry was one of the first people Charles called when his book was stolen," the insider said. "They rely on each other in a very father-son way at times."
Charles even wrote in his memoir that he was quite sympathetic for Prince Harry, especially in the days following Princess Diana's death. While recalling the train journey from London to Althorp for the funeral, Charles wrote, "My chief memory of that train journey is of being concerned at the lack of obvious care for Harry," and even said that the lack of support resulted in him being "allowed to spin out of control."
While this is all well and good for Prince Harry, Prince William and King Charles are reportedly "very uncomfortable" with their relationship entirely.
"There's so much bad blood with Diana's side of the family," the source explained. "It feels like Harry is siding with the enemy. Only the Lord knows what they're planning together, but the king is bracing for the worst."
