William Rast. The name that sounds like a Project Runway reject is actually comprised of the names of two hipstar’s grandfathers. Justin Timberlake and his best bud Trace Ayala’s collection sauntered down a runway set up at Social Hollywood on Sunset Boulevard to David Bowie’s Rebel Rebel as Wilmer Valderrama, Eve and Cameron Diaz, Paris and Nicky Hilton, and Dr. McDreamy watched from the front row bleacher seats. Since he’s so hell-bent on bringing sexy back, the Spring 2007 show was dubbed “Street Sexy” with skinny jeans and mohawks for all. It basically looked like a glam version of Bedford Ave in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (complete with a dance-off between catwalkers). But the boys still infused the collection with their Tennessee roots, country-inspired checkered shirts for men, leather details and models strolled down the catwalk in vintage inspired FRYE boots.
