The iconic model and actress is expanding her family, and doing so with a new fur baby. Earlier this week, on Monday, August 10th, she took to Instagram to announce her family’s adoption of a tiny white dog her family is calling Shippy.
“World, meet Shippy,” she wrote in her Instagram post caption. “She is perfect, and we are obsessed with her!”
The post featured several photos and videos of Shippy, who has quickly become a comfortable member of the Shields family and was adopted from the Southampton Animal Shelter. However, she wasn’t the only star of the post, as Brooke included a few pictures of herself in there as well. She appeared makeup-free in the first photo of her Instagram photo dump as she cuddled Shippy in bed while wearing navy pajamas.
In the puppy selfie, the actress showed off her complexion, including natural-looking fine lines and wrinkles, while smiling softly for the camera.
