The English model recently revealed in an interview that she and the Aquaman actress were romantically involved while she was in the process of divorcing the Pirates of the Caribbean star. Cara Delevingne Reveals She & Amber Heard Dating During Her Divorce From Johnny Depp
There are a lot of celebrity couples making headlines right now. Still, a recent news story has some people taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting a notable pairing - Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.
The former couple was first linked together in 2012, after initially meeting in 2009 on the set of their film, The Rum Diary. They decided to tie the knot three years later; however, the marriage didn't last very long, and they divorced 15 months later in 2016, and Amber accused Johnny of abuse, also filing a restraining order. All of this led to their defamation trial six years later in 2022, where the jury found that she defamed him.
In between their divorce and trial, both performers began moving on and dating other people. The blonde bombshell more famously dated Elon Musk in 2017, but just before then, she was involved with one of her good friends, model and actress Cara Delevingne, who confirmed this in an interview with Louis Theroux. She mentioned that they had been "close for a long time."
"And then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled," she revealed. "But she was also entangled with other people."

The news might not be so surprising to fans and pop culture lovers who have been following the two famous women for a while, as many people had speculated there was something more than friendship between the two of them going on back when they would be photographed out and about.
During her interview with the famous UK media personality, the Victoria's Secret runway model pointed out that there was tension between her and Johnny right before he and Amber divorced, as they had worked on a movie together.
"It's because we did a movie together, and it was called London Fields," she responded after being asked if her and Amber's friendship angered Johnny. "He was also doing the movie. I think he was pretty driven crazy by jealousy. Nothing was happening at that point. Later, after they divorced, it had, I suppose."
