The transaction closed a little over a week ago, making Donald Jr. the sole owner of the large property, which the former couple purchased to live in in 2021. The buyout comes about two years after he and Kimberly ended their engagement and just months after he and new wife Bettina Anderson tied the knot in a private island ceremony. Documents Reveal Donald Trump Jr. Paid Kimberly Guilfoyle $7.6 Million For Their Shared Florida Home
Pop culture enthusiasts and fans of the Trump family believe any and all ties between the eldest son of the president and his media personality ex are officially cut, after a newly filed deed revealed that he paid her $7.6 million to acquire her portion of a massive home they intended to share in the exclusive Admiral's Cove community in Jupiter, Florida.
The six-bedroom mansion was purchased by the former couple for $9.7 million in March 2021, just a few months after they announced they were engaged. The home measures more than 11,200 square feet and sits on about 1.2 acres of land overlooking a creek, with access to the ocean by boat, as reported by Realtor. The house also includes luxurious amenities, a private dock, pool, elevator, outdoor entertaining area, etc. After the couple broke off their engagement, the 48-year-old ultimately opted to retain the mansion rather than sell it. Documents from the end of July revealed that Donald Jr. took over responsibility for the property's remaining mortgage, and that Kimberly signed the paperwork as well.
With the purchase and takeover complete, he's now the owner of the entire property. It's unclear whether he plans to use the Jupiter mansion as his primary home with his new wife, Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson, or as a Florida vacation home.
Donald Jr.'s Steps To Moving On Following His & Kimberly's Split
The buzzworthy political couple first began dating in 2018, after his separation from his first wife, Vanessa Trump, with whom he shares five children, including Kai Trump. The duo became one of the most popular couples within the Trump family and eventually got engaged in December 2020 before announcing it in 2022.
However, their relationship came to an end in late 2024, around the time the dad-of-five was increasingly being linked to Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson, which is why rumors that he cheated on the current Ambassador to Greece began arising, though they kept up as clean a public image as possible. Donald Jr. and Bettina went on to marry in a private ceremony in the Bahamas in May, while Kimberly began making moves in her ambassador position.
Sources recently came forward to report that she was working to do the best she could at her job, "determined not to be seen as a loser."
