A dinner party invitation from Gwyneth Paltrow has been leaked online, and the Goop founder is already receiving a ton of backlash. Why? The dinner party is being hosted in honor of Sam Altman, CEO of Open AI, whose net worth is over $3.5B. The decorative invite has made its rounds on social media, with users calling Paltrow “tone deaf” and “out of touch,” but in typical Gwyn fashion, she doesn’t appear to be bothered, even going as far as to posts parodies of her invitation in response. Gwyneth Paltrow Hosts Dinner Party In Honor Of OpenAi Billionaire
Matthew Belloni, author of the newsletter, Puck, published a photograph of the invitation, which reads, "Gwyneth Paltrow invites you to a private, off-the-record al fresco dinner at her home in honor of Sam Altman." The event appears to be set for Saturday, August 29th, and begins with cocktails at 6pm before a seated dinner at 6:45. Though the invitation notes that the exact address will be provided closer to the date, it does give the location of Amagansett, NY.
While social media users were quick to criticize the 53-year-old, Paltrow didn't waste any time on her end with a cheeky response posted to her Instagram Stories. She created five replicas of the invitation, each in honor of a different fictional person, including "M3GAN," which refers to the 2022 horror film about an artificially intelligent doll, "Samantha Jones," from "Sex in the City," "SHREK," Jessica Rabbit, and "Chanty Beluga," a character made up by comedian Courtney O'Donnell.

Social Media Reactions
Despite Paltrow's attempts to laugh off the entire situation, users on social media weren't quick to forgive. "Yeah she's so over," one user wrote on X.
"She reeks of desperation," wrote another.
"Stop supporting AI giants," posted a third person on Instagram. "Hope this helps, Gwyneth."
"What’s next a collab with Satan?" asked the next.
"Ha! Cheeky," posted another. "And hope this means you’re not hosting a man who’s literally advocating for less human work & creativity?"
"This damage control ain’t controlling much babe," added one user.
"You love fresh organic vegetables, but don’t care if others have access to fresh water if they live by an AI data center," pointed out the next.
"You have been over for so long, baby," a final user wrote. "Host your parties and eat your marrow bone broth, no need for damage control. Cos everybody already knows who you are. We've known for a long time."
