Anne Hathaway had the best response to a fan who asked whether she was having a boy or girl as she accepted her Disney Legend honor at the Disney Legends Awards, which took place during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, on August 16th.
The 43-year-old Oscar-winning actress, who is pregnant with her and husband Adam Shulman‘s third child, has been wowing fans with her maternity wardrobe ever since revealing that she was expecting earlier this year. But one fan wasn’t focused on her fashion or even her Disney Legend honor, and instead had one very important question for the mom-to-be as she was on stage accepting the award – and members of the audience and fans online were obsessed with her “quick” response!
Hathaway’s honor comes 25 years after she made her Disney debut as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries back in 2001. She reprised the role in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement in 2004, before later joining another major Disney franchise as the White Queen in Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass. The Disney Legends Award is Disney’s highest honor, and celebrates those who have made a lasting impact on Disney and its legacy.

Anne Hathaway Had The Best Response To A Fan Who Asked If She Was Having A Boy Or Girl

Hathaway and Shulman are already parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6. The Idea of You actress recently revealed that she and her husband know the sex of their third child, but she has chosen not to reveal it publicly.
She previously said on Jimmy Kimmel Live: "We know, we're not saying." The audience cheered after she said that, and she replied: "Thank you for the support. I always feel so rude saying that. I feel so bad."

Fan Reactions
"Anne is awesome," gushed one fan on TikTok. "Love her response," praised a second, as a third said: "Lol, she was quick with that." "Princess training always pays off," quipped a fourth, as a fifth said she was the "Queen of a quick comeback," and a sixth said the response was "priceless."
"Love my queen Anne," declared a seventh, as an eighth said: "You can't just ask the Queen of Genovia if her baby is a boy or a girl!" "It's pretty rude to ask our Princess questions about her pregnancy," echoed a ninth, as a tenth said: "Gosh, she's adorable." "She's so incredibly beautiful," added an eleventh.
Some fans also speculated about whether Hathaway could be subtly hinting at the baby's sex through her maternity wardrobe, pointing to the amount of blue she has been wearing.
"Has anybody noticed that she hasn't really been wearing any pink since she revealed her pregnancy?" asked one fan. "I think it's a boy... she has been wearing a lot of blue lately," thought a second, as a third said: "If you pay attention to her wardrobe during her movie premieres this year, it's been BLUE! I think it's a boy." "Yeah, but she could be wearing blue to throw everybody off," a fourth chimed in.
Others, however, had the opposite prediction. A fifth said: "Her belly is sitting really high, it has to be a girl." "Her bump seems really high to be a boy I think girl," echoed a sixth, as a seventh simply said: "It's a girl."
