Gwyneth Paltrow has found herself receiving more online backlash after posting a TikTok video that she might’ve intended to be funny, but many social media users found it anything but.
The Goop founder recently took to her new TikTok account to share a video where she can be seen getting her nails done at home. In her video, she does a voiceover with a brief and quirky monologue about thoughts she has while getting her nails filed down, including that her followers should ‘never’ think you can’t ‘have it all.’ Though it’s unclear whether or not she was trying to be sarcastic, the video was met with a wave of criticism from users who felt she was flaunting her privilege and acting ‘tone deaf.’ Read more about the controversial video below.

Gwyneth Paltrow Posts Viral TikTok Video Of Herself Getting Her Nails Done
When it comes to celebrities who like to show off their luxurious lifestyle, the Shallow Hal actress often comes to mind for many, as she went from being a famous, award-winning actress to also being dubbed a lifestyle guru, selling a series of unconventional or trending beauty products and treatments through her company Goop. Therefore, her career was taken to new, busy heights.
Recently, she began posting more on her personal TikTok page, and earlier this week, posted a video of herself wearing a blue button-down and sitting in what looks like her at-home office desk, while a nail technician can be seen beneath her, giving her a manicure.
“What do I think about when I’m getting my nails done?” she asks in a voiceover. “To never, ever let anyone tell you that you can’t have it all. You can. You just have to be willing to answer emails while someone is filing your nails. And it’s less glamorous than it sounds.”
Social Media Users Slam Gwyneth’s TikTok Video
The video had a somewhat silly tone about it, with the mom of two being seen wearing her glasses and entering work mode while a woman sits on the floor and completes both a manicure and pedicure on her. Therefore, there are some social media users who are convinced that her attitude in the video and voiceover was rather sarcastic.
However, there were also numerous TikTok users who felt that she was being serious, flaunting not only her privilege but wealth, and how she’s able to get various luxuries into her daily routine. Users left a string of negative comments below her video.
“It’s the most tone deaf thing I’ve ever seen,” a TikTok user commented.
“This is actually so insulting,” wrote another, with one user adding, “This is raigebait, right?”
“Not now. Gwyneth,” commented a frustrated user.
“I can’t have it all, Gwen; I wasn’t born into wealth,” another wrote.
“Wow, I hate this,” commented a user, with another adding that it was “ridiculous.”
