Donald Trump‘s health has been called into question for quite some time, and now his weight is allegedly a big part of the problem.

As speculation spreads that the president is not in good health, a new report was released in which health experts said that he’s only a few pounds away from putting his well-being in jeopardy. More specifically, one doctor noted that Trump was only about two pounds from being classified as ‘obese,’ which would only exacerbate the current issues he’s dealing with. Donald Trump Is Reportedly Only 2 lbs Away From Being Considered 'Obese'

The Apprentice star has been making a lot of headlines over the last few years, especially with his policies, viral speeches, and more. However, he's also been catching people's attention due to some of the latest conspiracies and updates involving his health.

In recent months, the president has stepped out with bruising on his hands, had a few slurred sentences in some speeches, and has been seen seemingly dozing off during public events, even press meetings in the Oval Office. Now, medical experts are beginning to weigh in on how his weight could be making any potential health problems he has even worse. In a new report from The Washington Post and Hola, Trump is only about 1-2 pounds away from falling under the 'obese' category.

"We know that obesity is a strong risk factor for numerous health issues — as well as premature disability and death," Scott Kahan, director of the National Center for Weight and Wellness, told the above publication. "Addressing obesity to protect the president's health should be a priority similar to ensuring Secret Service protections for his life."

The White House Maintains That Donald Trump Is Healthy & Doing Well

Throughout all of the conspiracy theories surrounding his well-being and whether or not he's in worse shape than he lets on, the White House and other members of his administration have insisted that the 80-year-old is doing fine and more than capable of carrying out his extremely important job.

His press secretaries and other reps have come up with a handful of excuses for his latest incidents, accusing anyone who stated he fell asleep at events of lying, describing the bruising on his hands as a result of handshaking, and his leg swelling as due to a less severe case of chronic venous insufficiency. More recently, one of his more fiery reps, Davis Ingle, released a statement on his condition.

"President Trump's sharpness, unmatched energy, relentless work ethic, and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the last administration when Democrats and the legacy media intentionally covered up Joe Biden's serious mental and physical decline from the American people," Ingle said, as reported by the above publication.
