Heidi Klum appears to have had a fashion misstep during one of her recent red carpet appearances.
While attending The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere on April 20, Klum stepped out in a liquid, optical-illusion-style gown. The seafoam-green sleeveless dress featured side cutouts, a column silhouette, a high turtleneck neckline and a medium-length train. She kept her footwear simple with strappy metallic silver heels.
For glam, the Project Runway host styled her hair in beachy loose waves that complemented the gown’s water-ripple effect. She finished the look with smoky eye makeup, a nude lip and bronzed skin.

Although the red carpet appearance took place months ago, the photos resurfaced in a Reddit thread this week, prompting fans to take another look at the ensemble.
Many commenters felt the dress appeared to be the wrong size, while others criticized the overall silhouette.
“There’s enough space under that dress for 3 Heidis,” one person wrote.
Another commented, “I don’t understand why it’s so big in the back. It seems like there’s space between her body and the back of the dress that isn’t supposed to be there.”
“It has no shape. I mean, I guess a blob is a shape,” one person joked. Someone else questioned the condition of the fabric, writing, “Is it the fabric or is this not steamed??? It looks so wrinkled.”
Other commenters were even more blunt, with one simply calling the dress “Hideous.”
“She looks like she’s wearing the hotel curtains. This is an awful dress,” another critic wrote.
Another added, “So unflattering.”
The resurfaced red carpet moment comes as the 53-year-old has opened up about feeling more comfortable with her body as she gets older. After decades as a supermodel, Klum recently said she is happier with gaining some weight and no longer feeling pressured to maintain an extremely slim frame.

“I’m no longer a size 24 jean. But I think with age, we look better when we’re not as skinny,” Klum told Us Weekly in an interview published July 8.
Heidi told the publication that it was her husband Tom Kaulitz, Tokio Hotel guitarist, that helped change her perspective on her weight.
“He said, ‘You should eat more; you would look better if you had more meat on your bones,’” she recalled. “This is not something you’re told in the industry, ever, because you’re always supposed to be skinnier than you are.”
Going down memory lane while looking at older photos of herself, the mom of four added, “He’s right! Proportion-wise, I look better bigger.”
The model also said she felt comfortable with her body in the past despite receiving criticism about her size.
“I felt comfortable before, too. People said I was fat, but when I looked in the mirror, I was like, ‘I don’t know what the heck they’re talking about. I don’t look fat,’” she said.
The modeling industry still demands that runway stars be as thin as possible, and with the new wave of “Ozempic” bodies, Klum added, “I never understood the size zero thing. You don’t exist if you are a size zero.”
