Khloe Kardashian is opening up about how differently she was treated before and after losing weight, revealing that the experience changed the way she viewed certain people around her.
In a viral clip from her podcast shared on Instagram on Aug. 1, the mom of two, who has undergone several notable body transformations over the years, discussed the way people treated her compared with her sisters, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian.
Speaking on her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, she said, “When I was chubbier, I used to get very different treatment than Kourtney and Kim got and then when I lost a lot of weight and started looking different, the treatment I started getting was so much more and better.”

Khloe Kardashian Recalls Being Treated Differently After Her Weight Loss
The Good American founder said the change made her uncomfortable because she realized some people were treating her differently simply because of her appearance.
“I just remember how gross that made me feel but I also was like I see all of you,” she continued. “I see this is a little game and I’ve never forgotten the ones that were mean to me or rude to me but great to Kourtney and Kim and then when I did lose weight, how those same people would then try to treat me so differently.”
She added that she never forgot the experience because, in her eyes, “I’m the same person.”
The 42-year-old has been open about her weight-loss journey and previously revealed that her breakup with Lamar Odom played a role in motivating her to make changes in her lifestyle.
“When I was younger, I used to binge eat,” Khloe said while answering a fan question about weight loss during a March 18 episode of her podcast. “I went to therapy about it. It was something like any emotional thing. I turned to food and just there was no stopping me.”
She continued, “I would eat, eat, eat, literally get sick, then feel disgusted with myself or how much I ate. Then be in such a shame spiral that I start eating again because I’m in such shame. So, it was like this vicious cycle.”
The reality TV star also recalled constantly comparing herself to other people and being compared to her sisters.
“I compared myself to everyone. People compared me to my sisters… something just sort of awakens inside of you that you’re like I don’t want to live like this anymore,” she said.
For Khloe, changing her lifestyle wasn’t an overnight process. She said the first several months were difficult because she still felt insecure and didn’t immediately see major changes on the scale.
“The first six months to a year, it’s just uncomfortable because you feel you’re still insecure, you’re busting your a– in the gym, you’re not really seeing a big shift on the scale, but you got to keep going,” the fitness enthusiast shared.

Khloe Explains She Feels 'Stronger' With Exercise
She explained that her motivation eventually became more mental than physical.
“For me, it was mental that kept me going. I loved how I felt. I felt so accomplished that I did something I set out to do. But for me, it was baby steps,” she said.
Khloe also credited exercise with helping her mental well-being, adding, “I honestly feel that the more you exercise, the clearer your mind will feel, and the stronger you will feel mentally.”
According to an article published on Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh website, Khloe works out three to five days a week with longtime trainer Coach Joe, also known as Joel Bouraima. Her workouts reportedly include high-intensity full-body circuit training, heavy lifting and core exercises, with 45- to 60-minute sessions combining resistance training and cardio.
