Kimberly Guilfoyle Reportedly Asks Trump Donor For 100k

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal and accusations from Deters himself, Guilfoyle begged him to pay off her credit card debt, promising access to important Trump administration officials if he did so. "Honey please I need you to get this done for me to day," she wrote using the messaging app Signal. The message was sent on July 3, 2025, just days before her confirmation hearing before the Senate to become a U.S. Ambassador to Greece.

She then reportedly sent Deters wiring instructions so that he could wire $100k directly into her American Express account. "It won't show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express," she wrote. "Please."

On Friday, Deters sat for an interview with Good Morning America and furthered his allegations, calling their relationship "quid pro quo" and claiming that Guilfoyle promised to use her political connections to help him should he wire her the money.

"You could just send it here," Guilgoyle allegedly wrote. "It won't show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express, that's all that will show. Please. And I have you down as one of my special guests for my hearing in DC on Wednesday.... I can get you in for a meeting on the matter we discussed please get back to me ASAP."

"She made it very clear, and the text messages make it very clear, she was so desperate for me to send that $100,000," he said, explaining that Guilfoyle even offered to be his "ride or die in the Trump world" if he sent over the money. Deters maintains that he adamantly refused, calling Guilfoyle a "grifter."
