Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock have been taking over the red carpet while promoting Practical Magic 2, but their latest coordinated looks weren’t exactly a hit with everyone.
The actresses stepped out together for the film’s London premiere on August 27 at the Ballroom of Claridge’s in London, England, opting for a black-and-white theme for the evening.
The Babygirl actress wore a black Chanel mini dress with a plunging neckline and pearl straps. She paired the look with black-and-white slingback heels and wore her hair swept to the side with long extensions. Her hairstyle also caught the attention of fans, who have been commenting on her hairpieces throughout the promotional tour.

Bullock opted for an Erdem black blazer layered over a black-and-white satin slip dress featuring lace trim and an asymmetrical hem. She completed the outfit with ankle-strap heels and a white fabric choker around her neck.
Sandra wore her hair half-up and half-down with side-swept fringe and kept her makeup relatively minimal. While the two A-listers appeared to be going for a coordinated, sophisticated aesthetic, fans online had plenty of opinions about the styling.
“The thick scarf is giving long green ribbon. I don't like that,” one person wrote on Reddit.
“Is the necklace holding Sandra’s head on? Is it a bandage?” another joked.
“What in the world is going on with these Practical Magic 2 outfits and looks? These are not good,” a third person commented.
“Yeah, whoever is styling this tour is not doing their best,” another fan added.
“The styling is... questionable,” someone else wrote. “These two are inseparable, but Sandra needs a serious stylist,” another commenter claimed.
Others focused on Kidman’s footwear, with one person writing, “Not a fan of Nicole Kidman’s grandma shoes.”
The contrasting outfits also left some fans "confused."
“Are they experiencing different weather at the same event? One is wearing a jacket and the other has thin straps,” one person asked.
Another took aim at Kidman’s Chanel dress, writing, “Nicole’s dress is unflattering. The proportions and shapelessness make her look gaunt, gangly and awkward. It’s showing a ton of skin but isn’t sexy or sultry at all. Just weird.”
Practical Magic 2 Returns After 28 Years
Despite the mixed reactions, the Australian native and The Blind Side icon have continued to embrace coordinated fashion moments throughout the Practical Magic 2 press tour, keeping fans closely watching their every red carpet appearance.
Practical Magic 2 picks up with the Owens women as they come together once again to break a generations-old family curse that has left their loved ones doomed to either lose love or suffer tragic fates. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens.
Set roughly 25 years after the original 1998 film, the sequel draws inspiration from Alice Hoffman’s 2021 novel The Book of Magic. Practical Magic 2 is currently scheduled to hit theaters on September 10, 2026.
