Amazon is reportedly doubling down on Melania Trump content, even after her first documentary failed to please critics or make back the massive investment poured into it.
A new docuseries about First Lady Melania Trump is reportedly coming to Amazon Prime Video this fall, just months after the release of Melania, the $75 million documentary that gave a behind-the-scenes look at the 20 days leading up to President Donald Trump’s second inauguration. The new series was revealed by Melania’s senior adviser, who claims it will offer a new perspective on her life and work inside the White House, as well as her relationships and philanthropic achievements. However, there are Amazon users already pushing back against it, ready to give up their ties to the massive company. Read more about the new series below.

Amazon Is Releasing A New Melania Trump Docuseries After Her First Documentary Flopped
According to new media reports, Amazon isn't done telling Melania Trump's story. Months after releasing Melania, the controversial, feature-length documentary that followed the First Lady during the weeks surrounding her husband's second inauguration, the streaming platform is allegedly moving forward with a new multi-episode series about her life.
According to Melania's senior adviser, Marc Beckman, the upcoming series will debut on Prime Video this fall and is intended to provide a much bigger and more in-depth look at the First Lady than the original film. Rather than focusing primarily on the 20 days before Donald Trump's second inauguration, the series is expected to explore Melania's life as First Lady overall, telling the hosts of Real America's Voice that it'll offer "a completely different look" into her life.
The announcement comes after Melania received a massive wave of backlash from critics. Although the film had a strong $7.04 million opening weekend, it ended up making less than $17 million at the global box office despite Amazon reportedly spending around $75 million on it, including marketing costs. Critics and internet users were not only opposed to an entire documentary on Melania's life centered around the inauguration, but overall, many accused the documentary of not offering genuine or sincere insight into her.

Amazon Customers & Other Internet Users React To The News
The news of a brand new series on the Slovenian native might have many Trump family supporters excited about what's to come and what they can see in it, but on the other hand, many Amazon Prime members are beginning to doubt their loyalty to the service and are considering abandoning their subscriptions altogether.
On platforms like Reddit, users shared their feelings on the news, with many bashing Amazon, its founder Jeff Bezos, and more for the decision to produce more Melania content.
"People should cancel their Prime en masse as soon as it drops," wrote a user.
"Why would anyone want to watch multiple episodes?!" asked a user. "It's just shameless bribery."
"More grifting," added another. "They are repulsive."
"The fact that Bezos produced this pathetic drivel is reason enough for me to never subscribe to Amazon Prime," one user commented. "Ever."
"A banner appeared reminding me that my subscription expires at the end of the month," added another. "Thank goodness."
