Last year was all about the sheer top trend–but luckily, there’s something else taking its place for 2021.

Showing flesh is so 2020, showing your shape is what’s next. Super skin-tight tops, also called ‘Second-Skin’ Tops have been declared the big top trend for 2021. Here’s everything you need to know:

The Who What Wear editors called it late last year: skintight, sometimes a bit sheer, tops from the likes of Ganni and Marine Serre are going to be everywhere.

“Even though the fashion world loves a “naked” trend, sheer tops are no longer the freshest way to create an eye-catching look and, not to mention that they tend to be hard to wear,” writer Lauren Eggertsen wrote of the trend.

Soon, they began popping up all over Instagram!
