These 4 New Fall Launches From Laifen Are About To Upgrade My Entire Beauty Routine

For a long time, I didn’t really have high hopes for my skill with hair and makeup. (I still don’t, if I’m being honest!)

I remember being 16 years old, spending my high school mornings attempting to straighten my hair with a beat-up flat iron I’d salvaged from the back of my mom’s bathroom drawer, and wondering why my strands came out frizzy instead of sleek. I chalked it up to humidity and my tricky curls, except that wasn’t the full story. Clearly, I wasn’t working with good tools—and once quality became the priority instead of whatever was cheapest or oldest, everything got easier.

"Laifen Autocurl hair styling tool"

On my quest for genuinely good beauty tools, I discovered Laifen and never looked back. Founded in 2019, the brand built its reputation on engineering its own high-speed motor (capable of 110,000 rpm) that powered its very first hair dryer, and today its tools are in more than five million households worldwide. Their whole mission is grounded in the pursuit of technological advancement, and ensuring accessibility for all.

I’ve kept tabs on pretty much everything Laifen has put out (their Mini Hair Dryer specifically being one of my favorites) and four of their upcoming fall launches have me especially excited to get my hands on. Consider this your early heads up, so you can add these to your cart the second they drop.

Keep reading for more details.

Laifen Glowy Vanity Mirror

"Laifen Glowy Vanity Mirror for makeup application"

There have been plenty of times I’ve gotten to work, glanced in a bathroom mirror and realized my bronzer wasn’t blended in properly or there were weird blush splotches on my cheekbones. That’s what happens when you’re doing your makeup in the low lighting of an apartment bathroom at 7AM! Everything looks fine until you see it under natural light.

But Laifen’s Glowy Vanity Mirror, launching this September, is designed to make sure that never happens again. It replicates natural daylight, so what you see in the mirror is what everybody else sees too—not some flattering, dim approximation of it. Between the 360° even illumination and a big, high-definition mirror, you can catch the details before you walk out the door instead of after.

It’s also smarter than a regular mirror has any business being. It senses when you sit down and turns on automatically, remembers your preferred settings so you’re not re-adjusting every single morning, and offers multiple lighting modes depending on what you’re doing (full glam versus a quick skincare routine call for pretty different lighting IYKYK). It’s rechargeable too, so it’s just as useful sitting on your counter as it is thrown in a bag for a trip. And despite giving you that bright, true-to-life light, it’s built with low blue light, eye-safe illumination, so even if you’re sitting in front of it for a full makeup routine, your eyes aren’t paying for it later.

Laifen P3 3-Blade Electric Shaver

"Laifen P3-PC hair styling tool"

My husband’s birthday is coming up in October, and this immediately jumped onto my gift ideas list. Sure, an electric razor might not be the sexiest present in the world, but it’s one of those everyday essentials that gets used all the time—which, in my opinion, makes it a worthwhile investment.

Laifen’s new P3 3-Blade Electric Razor is about a third smaller than a traditional electric shaver, so it’s perfect for tossing into a carry-on, gym bag, or work backpack. But unlike many compact grooming tools, it doesn’t sacrifice performance for portability. A dual-motor system and ultra-thin stainless steel foil deliver a close, even shave without the pulling or tugging that cheaper travel razors are known for. Even better, it’s designed with sensitive skin in mind, helping minimize post-shave irritation and beard shadow while still delivering a clean, polished look.

Laifen Autocurl

"Laifen Autocurl hair styling tool in use"

I’ve been straightening my hair since high school, so I consider myself a pro. But curling irons are a whole different ballgame. I’ve always struggled with holding the wand at the right angle and using my other hand to feed hair into it in tiny sections. It’s truly an art form, and one that Laifen’s AutoCurl makes foolproof.

The brand’s newest curling iron (which officially launches August 17) detects where your hair is placed and automatically figures out which direction to curl it. You can go full hands-free in Auto Mode and basically let it do the thinking, or switch to Manual Mode on days you want more control over the finish.

As a mom navigating busy mornings, I probably most appreciate how fast it is. Each section takes about 16 seconds, and the heat distributes evenly instead of scorching one side of the curl. TL;DR: you get a full head of bouncy, salon-style curls in a fraction of the time an old-school wand would take. Temperature settings also adjust based on your hair type, and it uses 200 million negative ions while it works, which helps cut down on frizz and leaves hair looking shinier instead of fried.

Laifen Swift 4 Hair Dryer

"Laifen Swift 4 High-Speed Hair Dryer in action"

As a lover of Laifen’s Mini Hair Dryer, I just know I’m going to love the Swift 4. My natural hair is curly/frizzy, so styling usually means blow-drying, then flat-ironing and going through with hair oil to de-frizz certain sections. But the Swift 4 is actually built to be that one step: it dries hair while simultaneously diffusing essential oils into a fine, micron-sized mist through what Laifen calls its Nourishing Nozzle, kept at a safe, steady 58°C. Combined with hundreds of millions of negative and positive ions working to cut static and balance your scalp as you dry, you’re basically getting a mini spa treatment.

And, like other Laifen products, it’s fast. A 115,000 RPM brushless motor pushes out serious airflow, enough to dry medium-length hair in about 1.5 minutes. Unlike the harsh blasting of old-school dryers (RIP to my strands from my early 20s), it monitors heat 1,000 times a second so you get speed without sacrificing hair health. More pros: the slim, ergonomic handle doesn’t leave your arm aching halfway through drying your whole head, and it’s quiet enough that you could realistically use it without waking up your whole household at 6AM.

"Laifen Swift 4 High-Speed Hair Dryer design"

Looking back at 16-year-old me, hunched over my mom’s old flat iron and wondering why nothing ever came out right, I wish I could tell her it was never really about skill. It was always about having the right tools. And based on everything I know about Laifen’s new P3 3-Blade Electric Shaver, Glowy Vanity Mirror, AutoCurl, and Swift 4 Hair Dryer, they’re exactly the right tools my husband and I need. I can’t wait to add them to our routines!

Laifen’s P3 3-Blade Electric Shaver, Autocurl, Swift 4 Hair Dryer, and Glowy Vanity Mirror are launching August 3, August 17, September 1, and September 4, respectively, so add them to your list now.
