“When Brad was on, that was hilarious,” Kudrow said, referring to the iconic Thanksgiving episode in which Pitt played a former classmate who belonged to the “I Hate Rachel Green Club.”
“I know. How funny,” Aniston replied.
According to a source quoted by the National Enquirer, the 57-year-old‘s comments reflected how much she has healed since their highly publicized divorce.
“Jen is very deliberate about what she says,” the source claimed. “It was her way of showing that there are no lingering hard feelings and that she’s genuinely happy to see him doing well.”
The insider added that Aniston feels she has reached a place where she can look back on that chapter of her life “without anger or sadness” and simply appreciate the positive memories.
However, the source alleged that Curtis doesn’t necessarily share the same perspective.
The insider claimed Pitt has become “a surprising source of tension” between the couple, explaining that Curtis understands how painful the relationship was for Aniston and questions why she would want to leave the door open to any future friendship.
“Jim thinks some relationships are better left in the past,” the source alleged.
