There are a lot of celebrity couples making headlines these days, and even though they're separated, one of the most popular duos remains Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, who were together from 2005 to 2018.
Numerous pop culture lovers were shocked and upset when they decided to split after 15 years of marriage and life in the public eye, especially since they were the parents of three young children. Since then, the pair have moved on, both entering other relationships, with Ben rekindling his relationship with Jennifer Lopez and the Once Upon a Farm founder being in a relationship with boyfriend John Miller since 2018.
Over the years, a newly single Ben has been expressing what a great co-parent and friend his first ex-wife has been, and sources have explained that she's been continuing to support him and his sobriety, all while they remain friendly co-parents. However, sources have come forward to state that this fondness has begun to strike a nerve with John, who is reportedly feeling like a "third wheel."
"Miller has reportedly been feeling more like a third wheel than Garner's partner due to Affleck's very noticeable reliance on his ex," writers at Nicki Swift reported after hearing from inside sources.
John Miller Allegedly Wants Jennifer 'For Himself'
Some of these feelings have reportedly begun to stir up in the American businessman, who initially met the 13 Going On 30 star through mutual friends not long after her divorce, after she began a dependent friendship and co-parenting relationship with her ex.
Allegedly, this has become especially relevant now that the Good Will Hunting writer has become more reliant on Jennifer for helping him stay sober and put together, as he's been working through a struggle with alcohol since the early 2000s, currently working hard to maintain a sober lifestyle.
Though in a past viral interview, Ben called his divorce the "biggest regret of his life," a source told Radar that John "wants Jen for himself."
"He's trying to deal with Ben and Jen's relationship by mostly staying quiet, but it's very hard to do that," they continued.
