For most iPhone users, they keep almost their entire life’s worth of information on their device, which is why you must keep your phone safe.

One of the biggest fears and concerns for many tech users these days is the risk of someone infiltrating their device, hacking it, and accessing their personal information. Though iPhones have a lot of built-in security features, making it extremely hard for hackers to get onto them, through certain scams, they can get access to certain parts of your device. Read more about two signs someone might be spying on your iPhone or accessing your information below.

1. It Acts Like It's Malfunctioning

When taking a look at signs that your iPhone has been infected by some kind of malware or virus, downloaded by someone with malicious intentions to spy on your device, one of the most common and obvious is that it starts breaking down. A phone that crashes, loses battery life at a quick pace, lags, and more could be an infected device.

"If your phone is lagging, crashing, and freezing, even though it's healthy, this indicates bloated apps or background tracking," explains tech pro Steven Athwal.

2. You're Getting Pop-Ups Or Notifications About Your Phone Being Hacked

Another common sign that something negative is going on with your phone is the sudden flush of notifications or pop-ups that your device has been infected. Sometimes, these pop-ups try to get you to further click on a suspicious link or more. Therefore, once you start getting these notifications, it's important to seek help.

"If your iPhone is telling you the system is infected, that's also a sign it may be compromised," adds tech expert Amruth Laxman. "To avoid these issues, click links you trust, keep iOS updated, and don't install new permissions or profiles from unknown sources. Most of these issues can be avoided by deleting suspicious apps and resetting your password if needed."
