Robert De Niro is back to calling out the president, and he truly didn’t hold back when it came to one of his darkest scandals.
The renowned actor is making headlines after calling Donald Trump a “moron” during a rally in New York City, with the actor’s latest criticism of the president sparking reactions across social media. The event focused on Jeffrey Epstein’s victims and calls for the release of more documents related to the late convicted sex offender, with De Niro aiming at Trump over his handling of the files. Robert De Niro Attends Jeffrey Epstein Survivors Rally In New York
On Monday, October 5th, Robert joined Epstein survivors and other public figures at a 'Hands Off Our Vote' rally in Washington Square Park in Manhattan to call for the release of additional files related to Epstein's crimes. The event featured a mobile library displaying documents from the case as organizers pushed the Trump administration to make more records public. Rosie O'Donnell also attended the rally, which focused on seeking accountability for Epstein's victims.
The Goodfellas star, who has frequently criticized the president, used his appearance to praise the survivors and condemn what he described as efforts to prevent the public from learning more about the case.
"One man is standing in the way of releasing the rest: Donald Trump. What is he hiding?" the actor asked.

Robert De Niro Calls Donald Trump Epstein's 'Protector-In-Chief'
During his speech, the Meet the Parents star accused the 80-year-old commander in chief of standing in the way of justice for the disgraced financier's victims and called on his administration to release the remaining files.
Addressing the survivors, the actor praised their courage while referring to Epstein as a "monster" and describing Trump as his "protector-in-chief," alongside Republicans in the president's cabinet and Congress. Robert also questioned why the remaining documents had not been made public, asking what the president could be hiding. Trump has denied wrongdoing in connection with Epstein's abuse and trafficking crimes, and the award-winner's accusations at the rally were not proof of criminal involvement.
Just one day earlier, Robert attended a 'Hands Off Our Vote' rally, where he referred to the president as a "coward," encouraging the rally crowd not to let him "take our voice and power away."
After his speech went viral, there were many social media users who backed Robert's words, but there were also numerous users who didn't like how he insulted the president, who fired back.
"He was looking in the mirror when he said that," responded a Facebook user.
"Personally, I don't care what celebrities say," wrote another.
"He's spot on," one supportive user wrote, as another added, "And he is 100% correct!"
