Donald Trump Makes Claims Of 'Unbelievable Crowds' At Alabama Rally
The New York Times reported that the size of Trump's rallies have decreased significantly since the beginning of his rise to power, writing that the indoor area he spoke at in Alabama "was not full," in fact, "some upper sections were almost completely empty."
However, Trump disagreed, and said so on Truth Social. "My Rally crowds and enthusiasm are unbelievable!" he wrote on the platform. "Nobody has ever seen anything like it. We are flipping races all over the place. The Fake News knows it, but they don't want to be truthful with their viewers. It's all happening! The Dumocrats never counted on this. Thanks you to the great Networks that are covering the Rallies in full. They are being rewarded with BIG RATINGS. Watch for the 'Midterm Surprise!'"

Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms, users were not surprised to see Trump pushing a false agenda to boost his reputation, and many made jokes about the situation: "half couldn't afford the gas to get there," said one user on X.
"Is this a high school auditorium?" asked another.
"@WhiteHouse you should really put @realDonaldTrump in smaller venues," suggested another person. "You know this. This looks weak and embarrassing."
"This needs to be preserved for when he claims he won because of the huge crowds he drew," said another.
"Damn, even Disney on ice filled up an arena more than that here in my hometown," joked one user.
"Looking very empty!" a final user wrote.
