Susan Dell, the wife of Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell, has sparked online discussion following her recent appearance at the White House alongside President Donald Trump. While the visit focused on a major children’s savings initiative, social media users turned their attention to Susan’s appearance, with some comparing recent images with older photos and speculating about possible cosmetic procedures.
Susan and Michael Dell visited the White House on October 7, appearing in the Oval Office with Trump to discuss Trump Accounts, a federally supported savings and investment program designed to help American children build financial assets.
The couple is supporting the initiative through a $6.25B philanthropic commitment announced by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in late 2025. The funding is intended to help establish accounts for millions of eligible children.

Internet Reacts To Susan Dell's Transformation
Although the appearance centered on the savings program, images and footage of Susan quickly prompted comments about her facial features, makeup, and overall appearance. Some social media users compared her current look with older photographs, while others used the term “Mar-a-Lago face,” an informal label used online to describe a particular heavily glamorized aesthetic associated with some women in conservative political circles.
“I’m just really sad that she turned from a beautiful young girl into this aesthetic,” one person wrote.

Another commenter said, “Yes, it’s so sad how these genuinely beautiful ladies believe the lie that they need to improve over and over again. Aging naturally is a beautiful process.”
“No way that’s the same person,” another user remarked.
“Yes, I can’t get over it??? What happened? Don’t want to be mean but??” someone else commented.
“Susan Dell needs to chill with the eyeliner and plastic surgery, she was beautiful” another critic wrote.

Cosmetic Doctors Weigh In
The online speculation also prompted discussion about whether cosmetic treatments could explain the perceived differences between older and newer photographs. However, Susan has not publicly confirmed undergoing the procedures mentioned by commenters.
Mirror US consulted Dr. Ross Perry, medical director of Cosmedics skin clinics, to discuss possible explanations for the differences people have pointed out in Susan’s appearance. His comments were based on photographs rather than a personal examination of her.
“There is a possibility she may have undergone a full facelift, as the skin around the jawline and mid-face appears lifted,” Perry said.
He also raised the possibility of upper blepharoplasty, a surgical procedure involving the upper eyelids, explaining that it can make the eyes appear more open and refreshed.
Perry noted that nonsurgical treatments may also change someone’s appearance. Botox can soften certain facial lines, while dermal fillers can restore volume in areas such as the cheeks and under-eye region. He added that excessive use of injectables can sometimes contribute to a wider-eyed or startled appearance.

However, the doctor emphasized that photographs alone cannot establish whether someone has undergone cosmetic procedures.
“It's also important to remember that lighting, makeup, camera angles, weight loss, or even temporary swelling can significantly alter how someone looks in photos,” Perry said. “Without a professional consultation, any discussion of cosmetic work remains purely speculative.”
Perry also outlined potential costs if someone were to undergo the procedures discussed, estimating that a facelift could cost as much as $40K, upper eyelid surgery around $8K, Botox between $300 and $800, and dermal fillers between $600 and $1,500.
Actual prices vary depending on the provider, location, and treatment plan. For now, the discussion surrounding Susan’s appearance remains driven largely by social media comparisons and speculation, rather than any confirmed information about cosmetic procedures.
