Dua Lipa is no stranger to award-winning music and stylish fashion choices. And while her en-vogue outfits are usually a big hit with fans, the same couldn’t be said for one of her latest Paris Fashion Week ensembles.
The “Levitating” hitmaker, 31, divided social media with the dramatic feathered Chanel ensemble she wore while attending the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2027 show at the Grand Palais on October 5th. She certainly turned heads from the front row, although many social media users didn’t think it was for the right reasons…

Dua Lipa Turns Heads In A Red Feathered Chanel Ensemble At Paris Fashion Week
The "Houdini" singer married 36-year-old British actor Callum Turner earlier this year, and chose a dreamy Chanel Haute Couture wedding dress for their Italian ceremony. And for the show, she wore a striking red and light pink two-piece ensemble from the Chanel Cruise 2026/27 collection, designed by Matthieu Blazy.
The sleeveless top and matching midi skirt featured intricate red and pink floral embroidery, with dramatic red feathers and softer white plumes adding even more texture. The top featured a high neck, while the skirt brought the sexiness by way of a daring thigh-high slit on one side.
The "Dance the Night" hitmaker teamed the head-turning outfit with light pink and black two-tone Chanel slingbacks with sculptural heels, and a pearl-embellished clutch bag tucked under her arm. She accessorized with gold jewelry, including ear cuffs, and wore her dark hair in a sleek high ponytail, allowing the intricate details of the outfit to take center stage.

Internet Reactions
Social media users were certainly divided! "Love her, hideous dress," wrote one critic on Instagram, as a second agreed: "That dress hurts my eyes."
"She is a very beautiful woman but that dress and glam is not it," echoed a third, while a fourth simply compared her to a "rooster," finished off with the rooster emoji.
A fifth critic took aim at the French fashion house itself, writing: "Personally, Chanel has never done her justice. You have a woman with long arms and long legs and you give her feathers and an abdomen like an ostrich. She deserves better from the collection. Get it right Chanel."
Not everyone agreed, though, as some fans were blown away by the intricate detailing of the outfit. "The details of the feathers and flowers are incredible," praised one fan.
"My goddess," gushed a second, preceded by two heart eyes emojis, while a third simply wrote: "Obsessed."
