Usha Vance looked chic in a floral shirt and bold teal pants in a new Instagram video, as her comments about whether husband J.D. Vance could run for president in 2028 continue to make headlines.
The Second Lady proved that summer is far from over as she showed off her summery ensemble in an August 26th Instagram video promoting a new prize drop for her Summer Reading Challenge. And while fans praised both her outfit and her work encouraging children to read, others were more interested in what could be next for the Vance family after Donald Trump‘s presidency comes to an end.

Usha Vance Stuns In Floral Shirt And Teal Pants
The SLOTUS wore a pair of bold teal pants in the video, teamed with a white long-sleeved shirt covered in a colorful floral print, proving that bold colors can still look effortlessly chic for summer. Her hair was worn in a side-parted straight down do, and she was sporting minimal makeup.
The mom-of-four, who welcomed a baby boy named Alec Neel Vance back in July, captioned her post: "New Summer Reading Challenge prize drop! Reward yourself with a waffle from Waffle House, a building kit from Home Depot, or a fun toy — including stuffed German Shepherds in honor of our buddy Atlas. There’s still plenty of time to submit your reading log!"

Fans flooded the comments with praise for the initiative. "You guys are awesome!" wrote one fan, followed by three red heart emojis. "Thank you, SLOTUS, for advocating for children to read!" praised a second, as a third wrote: "Great cause," followed by two red heart emojis.
"Love this program for children, you are doing a wonderful job!" raved a fourth, followed by two pink heart emojis. "We love Usha! She will be the next First Lady of the USA!" exclaimed a fifth.

Usha Vance Says She Has An 'Open Mind' About J.D. Vance Potentially Running For President In 2028
That last comment is especially interesting given that Usha recently addressed whether her husband has his sights set on the presidency after Trump leaves the White House.
"My attitude is just have a kind of an open mind, an open heart, towards whatever might come next," she said in a separate interview with Fox & Friends, in which she was wearing the same chic summer outfit.
"I know whatever it is that he feels is the right thing for him to do, we're going to have a good time doing it," she continued, adding: "We will make the best of it in the best possible way."
And it seems like the Vances already have plenty of support if the comments are anything to go by. "Such a beautiful, smart woman," praised one fan. "Mrs Usha always has grace," gushed a second, followed by the red heart emoji, as a third said: "I love her." "What an amazing woman! We love J.D. Vance and your wonderful family, prayers and love," raved a fourth.
There were, of course, others who weren't quite ready to back Vance for the presidency, with several throwing Marco Rubio's name into the mix instead.
"Marco Rubio should be the first contender he [would] make an awesome president," wrote one Rubio fan. "Love Vance, but really think Marco Rubio is a win!" exclaimed a second, as a third simply said: "Team Rubio."
